ANNOTATION In this new normal, all teachers are given the opportunity to
attend online trainings and receive Certificate of Participation from
National Training. I had religiously attended the 40-hour INSET
conducted on March 15-19 and had given certificates. Together
with Vibal Webinars.Through attending webinars, I have gained
more knowledge that is very useful in the changes that we are
facing now. With this, I am confident that I am still able to deliver
quality education to my learners.

STRAND
Do you feel that this collection of work really reflects your
IMAGE abilities and what you have achieved this year through the
LDM course? Why or why not?

The term is over but I would definitely bring important lessons that
I have acquired form this course. The pandemic has been a great
challenge to us educators and to the whole Department of Education. As
we faced this new normal of learning, we cannot deny that the “distance or
remote learning” is difficult for all of us. As a teacher, I have uncertainties of
delivering quality education to my learners. At first, I think on how will I
going to teach, assess and monitor learners in this new mode of learning.
We also know that some learners have difficulties in learning at school,
how much more if they answer questions and study their lessons at home
without a teacher to help and guide them through. But this course taught
me the new teaching strategies in this new mode of teaching and learning.
With this time, collaboration among stakeholders- teachers, parents and
community should be wide emphasized because we cannot do this alone.
No one is self-sufficient enough to do the task considering this time of

ANNOTATION I learned in this LDM course that consistency and how

to be persistent in every beginning you made. This course is a
great help to ensure the delivery of quality instruction for it
helps teachers to be prepared for this distance learning in this
new normal situation. It helped us to gain knowledge, skills and
mind-set that are necessary in this new teaching and learning
process.

ANNOTATION One of the ways to monitor my pupils’ progress is through

group chat via messenger with the parents. I gave feedback and
recommendations to the parents regarding their child’s
academic performance. I conducted home visitation to those
pupils who do not have internet connection. I also prepared
summative and performance test every quarter to monitor my
pupils’ progress.
