 “Lift Plan” is an inclusive term for risk assessments,
method statements and supporting information, such as a
schedule of lifts, drawings and photographs.
 Leans towards a more definitive requirement for
Appointed Person attendance on Complex Lifts.
 Increase to derating tandem lifting operations from 25% to
at least 30%

 Hirer to supply information on GBC (same in


contract lift scenario)
 CBR test to determine potential capacity of the
ground
 Determine the jack load of the crane
 Calculate the pad size required under the
outrigger foot
