1. Introduction

This report presents hiring and section case. It comprises four section: Job Description,

Recruitment Plan, Selection Process, and Interview Questionnaire. The Job description section

comprises three parts: Job Title, Supervisor Job summary, Supervisor responsibilities and duties,

and supervisor Qualification and skills.

2. Job Description

2.1 Job title: Supervisor

2.2 Supervisor Job Summary:

Our company ACME is looking for a talented and results-driven Supervisor to manage workflow

at our facilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in filling, packing and labeling,

organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules and ensuring

quality compliance. You must possess strong communication and leaderships skills as well as the

ability to resolve workplace issues effectively. The Supervisor will be excited about guiding,

training and supporting their team members and is highly motivated to help our company fulfill

its larger mission. The successful candidate will be people-centered, supportive and flexible in

order to get the most of his/her team. You should also be a natural leader that's focused on

inspiring employees to own their work and deliver better results.

2.3 Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties:

Below are responsibilities and duties of the Supervisor position:

 Set performance goals and project deadlines that align with the company's larger

plans

 Delegate work to employees, track progress and provide constructive feedback

throughout projects

 Address problems with work quality, issues between employees and other

concerns in an effective, timely manner

 Ensure employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations

 Serve as a link between subordinates and upper management

 Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and create strategies to

boost productivity

2.4 Supervisor Qualification and Skills

Below are the required qualification and skills of the supervisor position:

 Experience in a supervisory or managerial role

 Excellent communication and leadership skills

 Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field required

 Experience using collaboration tools, such as SharePoint or Slack

 Great organizational skills and an eye for detail

 Ability to train employees when needed

9. We are looking for new ideas to increase productivity, improve morale,

and reduce overtime. Tell us about an idea you have that could yield positive

10. Describe a situation in which you dealt with and convinced individuals

who were hostile, distressed, and difficult to convince. Who was involved,

11. Scenario A: Imagine you pointed as a new supervisor for three groups of

the employee; the poor communication and the frequent conflicts were

prominent. Describe how your role in this? What you will do if every group

has an informal leader who is not accepting you?

12. Scenario B: at the end of the 3rd of August, at the morning the one

workgroup reported to you accidental malfunction of the main labeling

machine, at the same time tow employee called you for sick leaves on the next

days, your direct manager informed you that the monthly report submission

is today, therefore, you should submit July’s report today. On the midday, one

customer has to return the payment and compliant due to the delay of goods

ordered. Unexpected conflict about to arise between two employees. How you

prioritize, plan, and implement to resolve these issues.
