1. To understand different components of business environment and tools of environmental
analysis
2. To get basic understanding of Competition Act, Consumer Protection Act, and Foreign
Exchange Management Act
3. To understand the components of economic environment of business
4. To understand the implications of monetary policy, fiscal policy and economic policies
for economic growth
5. To analyze trends in industrialization and disinvestment
6. To analyze the impact of economic reforms on the growth of Indian economy
