MMR vaccine

1. The MMR vaccine is measles , mumps and rubella vaccine

2. a mixture of live attenuated viruses,

3. Administered via injection for immunization against measles, mumps and


rubella.

4. It is generally administered to children around the age of one year, with a


booster dose before starting school (i.e. age 4/5).

Hepatitis B vaccination?

Injection, of inactivated hepatitis A virus 720 ELISA units and recombinant


(DNA) hepatitis B surface antigen 20 micrograms/mL adsorbed onto aluminium
hydroxide and aluminium phosphate,

Dose

1. By intramuscular injection
2. Primary course of 3 doses of 1 mL,
3. The second 1 month and
4. The third 6 months after the first dose;
5. CHILD 1–15 years by intramuscular injection, 3 doses of 0.5 mL
6. Accelerated schedule (e.g. for travelers departing within 1 month), ADULT,
second dose 7 days after first dose, third dose after further 14 days and a
fourth dose after 12 months

BCG= 0–12 months (all neonates and infants)

MMR = First dose at aged 12–15 months


Second dose is given before starting school at 3–5 years (eliminates
