CAUTION: Do not allow persons to use or assemble this engine cradle until they
have read this manual .

manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. It must be
understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into
this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

WORK AREA
When assembling, installing, or removing the engine cradle
! Keep work area clean, free of clutter and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas can cause
accidents.
! Keep children and bystanders away while assembling, installing or removing the engine
cradle. Distractions can cause loss of control, so visitors should remain at a safe distance from
the work area.
! Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes and other mechanical hazards
near your work area, particularly those hazards below the work surface hidden from the
operator’s view that may be unintentionally contacted and may cause personal harm or property
damage.

PERSONAL SAFETY
! Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when using the engine cradle
! Do not overload engine cradle beyond rated capacity of 1000 lbs. Overloading can cause
damage or failure of the engine cradle.
! Always use cradle on hard, level surface capable of sustaining the engine. Use cradle on
other than hard level surface can result in cradle instability and possible loss of engine.

ASSEMBLY
Recommended Tools:
1 ea.-14mm Wrench
1 ea.-19mm Wrench

TIP: Refer to parts diagram during assembly to see fully assembled product.

Step 1: Assembling the swivel caster to the base


Hardware Needed:
Qty 4: 3in. Caster (Part #11)
Qty 1: Right Frame (Part #1)
Qty 1: Left Frame (Part #9)
Qty 4: Lock Washer M12 (Part #10)
Qty 4: Nut M12 (Part #12)
See Figure#1 below. Attach 3in. caster (part #11) to frame (part #1 and 9) using flat washer (part
#10) and nuts (part #12).
Step 2: Assembling the cross bar to the frames.
Hardware Needed:
Qty 1: Cross Bar (Part #6)
Qty 4: Bolt M6 x 40 (Part #2)
Qty 4: Lock Washer (Part #4)
Qty 4: Nut M6 (Part #5)
See figure #2 below. Attach cross bar (part #6) to left frame (part #9) and right frame (part #1) using
bolts (part #2), lock washers (part #4) and nuts (part #5).
Step 3: Assembling Completed.
Hardware Needed:
Qty 8: Flat Washer (Part #8)
Qty 8: Bolt 3/8in. x16 x3/4in. (Part #7)

When repairing engine, take off flat washers (part #8) and bolts (part #7) from cross bar (part #6)
and fix the engine in proper place.
MAINTENANCE
! Keep the parts rack clean. A properly maintained engine cradle will work more effectively.
Keep all of the parts dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.
! Cleaning. Use only soap and a damp cloth to clean your engine cradle.
