Lamitan City Police Station Chief PMAj.Nurhaib A. Bungkag clarifies that the
operation of cockpits, organizing and conducting cockfighting, continue to be
prohibited under the law and relevant issuances in the BARRM region.

According to PMaj. Bungkac, one (1) illegal cockfighting operation was shut down
on May 16, Sunday, which led to the arrest of (4) individuals. The Police Chief
emphasized that they will continue to be vigilant against violators and offenders
as they enforce the law.
