GENERAL
All civil ACFT operating on Treviso aerodrome must be classified as CAT 3 according to
ICAO Annex 16 chapter 3.

NIGHTTIME RESTRICTION
From 2300-0600LT it is compulsory for landing ACFT to use the entire length of RWY to
reach the parking area.

RUN-UP TESTS
Engine test is forbidden from 2300-0600LT and 1400-1600LT.

REVERSE THRUST
For landing ACFT the use of reverse thrust exceeding minimum limits indicated in the
ACFT manual is prohibited except for safety reasons.

AUXILIARY POWER UNITS (APUs)


The APU must be switched on not earlier than 60 minutes before EOBT and must be cut
off no later than 20 minutes after ATA. Longer use of APU will be allowed by Civil
Aviation Authority in exceptional circumstances.

LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)


LVP will be in force when:
- RVR is equal or less than 550m
- cloud base height is below 200' according to meteorological local report
- the deterioration of weather conditions recommends so
Pilots will be informed by RTF when LVP are in force.

Remark:
In presence of meteorological or operational conditions, even with clouds an/or RVR values above
the disciplined values, Treviso TWR may activate LVP if:
- a pilot report indicates a bad weather condition;
- there is an explicit pilots request to activate LVP or to perform a CAT II approach with marginal
values of RVR/cloud base (except the approaches required for training).

As reported in the points above, in order not to penalize the traffic sequence, the activation of LVP
may also take place on pilot request for the specific flight.

The message LVP in progress will be comunicated by ATC on frequency to the concerned flight only.

GROUND MOVEMENT
ACFT movement will be reduced at one at the time
Follow-me assistance on request.

ARRIVAL
Landing ACFT shall vacate RWY 07 via TWY A or B.

DEPARTURE
ACFT shall to enter RWY 25 via TWY A.
In case of aborted take-off proceed to RWY 07 head and back-track and vacate RWY via TWY B.

MANDATORY REPORTS
In reduced visibility conditions all pilots shall report to Treviso TWR:
- reaching RHP/IHP, unless otherwise instructed by TWR;
- reaching the stand.

PUSH-BACK/POWER-BACK
The manoeuvre starts on the apron and ends on TWY D nose East.

RADIO COMM FAILURE PROCEDURE IN MANOEUVRING AREA


ARRIVAL
ACFT will vacate the RWY on TWY A and will wait for follow-me car to reach the parking stand.

DEPARTURE
ACFT will continue on the assigned taxi route, a until reaching its clearance limit and wait for
follow-me to be guided back to the parking stand.

DEPARTURE
ACFT shall receive the signal "all clear" from ground staff before requesting start-up clearance
to Treviso TWR.
Start-up will be provided only after ATC has received "AFCT ready" communication by Aerodrome
Operator.
"ACFT ready" status means:
- ACFT doors and holds are closed.
- ACFT Safe Area clear from vehicles, equipment, obstacles and ground personnel.
- ACFT fully ready for taxi.
- Compulsory documentation provided to handler.
- Push-back tractor connected (nose-in stand).
Call sign and frequency:
- Treviso TWR 118.700 MHz
- Aerodrome operator (call sign "Operative AerTre") 131.430 MHz.
