My name is Peter Justine V. Aguilar. I am 21 years old currently residing at 3902
A. Avenue, Balibago, Angeles City. I am an aspiring Mechanical Engineer currently studying at HAU where I am a 3rd year student. I studied elementary at Systems Plus College Foundation and I finished my highschool both junior and senior at Angeles City Science High School. Growing up, I was not always the smartest and the brightest kid among the group. I may not be the best, but I always assure myself that I give my best in everything I do. I consider myself a little more passionate about certain things, especially the things that fascinates me.
That is why it is my biggest dream is to become a Registered Mechanical
Engineer. They say that Mechanical Engineers are the people that makes the world go round. Everything that has a machine, there is a great Engineer behind it. I am always fond of machineries and how things work. Especially the ones that makes our life easier. I believe that one day, I will make a great impact in this industry because ever since day one, I have always believed in my self and I do not stop learning new things to improve my skills and knowledge. MY EXPECTATIONS ON ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
My expectation from our course Engineering Management is to develop
my Engineering skills, knowledge, and expertise, alongside knowledge of business and management techniques, strategies, and concerns. My main goal is easily solving any engineering issue that comes up in a project. I also like to improve my skills when answering technical questions, proposing budgets for projects, training new employees, and working with various other departments. Also to learn how to effectively utilize technical, financial, and human resources. And I can also hone my conceptual skills such as critical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, The successful engineering manager must have the skills necessary to coach, mentor and motivate technical professionals; skills which are often very different from those required the effectively manage individuals in other fields. I believe that this subject would teach me essential things that I can use in my Mechanical Engineering career in the future.
