One of the cultural practices involved

preparations.
Preparing the area intended for
growing various crops entails the use
of farm tools.

These are tools made of light
materials and are used manually.
Most of the hand tools are used in
cultivating the area for small garden
or in backyard gardening.

weeds and chopping branches of
trees

is used for digging big holes and for


digging out big stones and stumps.

is used for digging canals,breaking

is used for removing trash or soil,


digging canals or ditches and
mixing soil media.

loose soil, moving soil from one

is used for cleaning the ground and


leveling the topsoil.

out root crops and turning over the

Why is it important
to use tools instead
of using bare hands
in farming?
it is very essential for day to day jobs. Farm tools
have been used by humans since ancient time to
complete various useful task. Hand tools can be
used for different kinds of work, they are light and
are used without the help of animals and
machines. Lastly, tools were able to accomplish
task that human bodies counld not and help
humans work more easier
in a nutshell
THEREFORE, WE CONCLUDE THAT
THESE FARM TOOLS PLAY VERY
IMPORTANT ROLES IN
AGRICULTURAL CROP
OPERATIONS BECAUSE THE
CROPS AND LIVESTOCK WILL
NOT BE RAISED AND CULTIVATED
PROPERLY IF THERE ARE NO
PROPER TOOLS.
Be careful in handling sharp tools
to avoid cuts/wounds. When it
happens, apply first aid. Be sure
that the medicine kit is available
all the time to prevent severe
damage.
