The Negative Impact of Fast Food
Restaurants In Teenagers In Dhaka city
Introduction

• Now a days fast foods are even popular in teenagers specially. Frequently
eating fast food could cause a result of various harm in teenagers. Now a
days it’s too common in teenagers that the negative impacts of fast food
restaurants in teenagers in Dhaka city is increasing day by day.
• The focus of my research will be on the negative impacts of fast food
restaurants in teenagers in Dhaka city. In the current situation teenagers in
Dhaka city are very much fond of going to the fast food restaurants and eat
the junk foods that could be a negative impact on their body.
It indicates that the teenagers of Dhaka city
often goes to the fast food restaurants to enjoy
the junk foods that can be harmful for them. It
can cause obesity and other health issues as
like type 2 diabetes , risk of heart diseases ,
kidney disease also it increases the chance of
damaging the liver. So it’s very obvious that
fast food restaurants can make a negative
impact on teenagers.
It indicates the survey of fast foods doesn’t give a
chain offers to the teenagers for a healthy choice as
79% of the participants thinks thats , fast food chain
doesn’t offer the teenagers a healthy choice. And it
could also be seen in our whole survey that fast food
harm the health of the teenagers in various way . As
our majority participants 79% people also believes
that fast food doesn’t offer any healthy choice to the
teenagers and 15.3% people doesn’t think so. So rhe
result from the pie chart is very clear that the
negative impact of fast foods in teenagers.
Here the graph shows the hazards of fast
food in teenagers. Frequently eating fast
food could cause teens and young adults
to gain more weight and face an
increased risk of developing insulin.
Here in this graph we can see 83.6%
participants agree that by often going to
fast food restaurants there could be
health risk of teenagers.
In this section we got the answer of our question
if teenagers are getting fat and bad calories from
fast food. Here the graph also shows that the
participants of our survey show that 83.1%
participants believes that teenagers are getting fat
and bad calories from the fast food. And other
14.5% participants are neutral in this feeling.
Here the graph shows that fast food effect the body
strength of teenagers in Dhaka city. Here the pie
chart shows that 85.5% of our survey participants
believes that fast food effects the body strength of the
teenagers. And 10% of our survey participants
believes that it doesn’t effect them. But here’s the
majority of our participants are very much strongly
answers that fast food effect the body strength of
teenagers in Dhaka city.
Data Research Summary

• From our research we came to know the hazards of fast food in teenagers.
Frequently eating fast food could cause teens and young adults to gain
more weight and face an increased risk of developing insulin resistance,
according to the results of a longitudinal study that followed over 3,000
young adults over a period of 15 years. Funded by the National Heart,
Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and published in The Lancet, subjects
who ate at fast-food restaurants more than twice a week compared with
those who do so less than once a week had gained an extra 10 pounds and
had a two-fold increase in insulin resistance, a risk factor for type 2
diabetes. Diabetes is a major risk factor for heart disease.
Recommendation

• From the data collected in my research it is evident that having fast food
means a bad impact on our body and harm it heavily. The dangerous fast
food effects on the teenagers and others effects our health. A study
published in the journal Public Health Nutrition showed that eating
commercially baked foods (doughnuts, croissants, and even bran muffins),
pizza, hamburgers, and hot dogs) may be linked to depression. The study
determined that people who eat fast food are 51 percent more likely to
develop depression than those who eat little to no fast food. A junk food
diet could also affect our brain's synapses and the molecules related to
memory and learning. So, I would recommend to ignore the fast food and
the fast food restaurants to the teenagers to maintain balance health.
Conclusion

• In conclusion , Fast food restaurants have

become an important part of teenagers food
habit. It has affected the tennagers in various
way and changing their balance of health
and harms a lot. However the negative
impact of fast food restaurants in teenagers
in Dhaka city is miserable. But still the
teenagers of Dhaka city have to conscious
about the impact fast food restaurants in
their day to day life and could harm their
health. So they should avoid it.
