Lesson Plan in English

I. OBJECTIVES

III. PROCEDURE
A. Motivation
Look at the pictures and describe the image that you see in it.

B. Presentation
Let the students read a short paragraph entitled, “Job Pressure”
Job Pressure
It was very obvious that Madison wanted to leave. However, she is
uncertain whether she will be fine. Everyone knows that he is the best
candidate. Other employees were even surprised to see Golda get the
promotion. The company was anxious to her decision of leaving her job.
But Madison was so depressed that somebody else got the promotion;
making her decision final. After a month, she decided to look for a new
company. She easily got hired since she’s very bright in language.
Several months passed by and she’s loves being a team manager.
Everyone was so happy to hear the news of her promotion.

C. Comprehension Check
1. Who left her first job?
2. Who got promoted instead of Madison?
3. What did Madison do when she missed the promotion?
4. How did she overcome her depression?

D. Grammar/ Language Focus


From the selection, underline the different adjectives that were used and
encircle the phrase after the adjective.

2. What do you think, is the purpose of the phrase that follows after the

Write your own sentences and use the different types of adjective complement.
Give five examples for each type.
