CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION

Field work practice (PKL) is an educational

activity that is needed for vocational students.
training and learning carried out in the industrial
or corporate world to approach providing
information to vocational high school students
(Smk).
The mental ability of students to have a
consistent and hardworking soul.
Skills, knowledge, ideas around the
professional, industrial world.
 Prakerin (industrial work practice) is an
educational, training and learning activity carried
out in the business or industrial world with the
competence (ability) of students according to their
field.
Sharpen professional skills and reliable
knowledge, ideas about the world of business and
industry shape the mindset of students so that
they build and provide experience in the world of
industry and the world of work.
Adding professional skills and knowledge can be
taken. Ideas about the business world or the
industrial world produce human resources who
have professional skills, with skills, knowledge,
and work ethics in accordance with the demands
of the times.

techniques, milling, welding, drilling and many
others such as lathe, milling mechine finishing DLL.

the main axis of the spindle is perpendicular to the
machine table.
Welding technique (welding) is one of the metal
