POSITION OBJECTIVE:

- Enabling & Facilitating effective Resource utilization by maintaining the current status of Resources &
Skills Data-Base for the Organization.

- The position is responsible for Effective Resource & Skills Management across All Geographies-
Verticals-Service Lines (including POC or Demo Projects under PreSales/COEs).

- The incumbent will participate & present status in Steering Committee /Review Meetings. Oversee
fulfillment & mobilization of Resource requirements proactively (Allocation & De-allocation) in a unified
manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fulfillment:

- Proactively planning for fulfillment by closely monitoring demand & supply

- Managing Allocations & De-allocations across Geographies/Verticals/Service-Lines

- Update Business on availability and supply of talent from the market

- Work with L&D & COEs to manage up-skilling/re-skilling/cross-skilling of resources as per Business
needs

- Real-time Reporting on status of Fulfillment: RMG Portal Cost & Utilization Management (with Delivery
Heads)

- Optimal Resource allocations across Geographies/Verticals/Service lines

- Account /Region/Vertical specific Resource-buffers

- Managing resources for Investment Projects or Projects undertaken for purposes of Business
Development

- Managing & Maintaining the pool of Deployable resources (may be used above)

- Rotation of resources : Onsite/Offsite or across Geographies & Verticals Managing Cost

- Influencing & managing direct cost through maintenance of pyramid

- Managing rotations for planned resource enrichment

- Replenishment of resources at next lower levels

Collaborative Work Style

- Excellent coordination with different stakeholders and building strong relationships with internal
customers - Delivery Heads and Project Managers

- An entrepreneurial approach with full understanding of Business needs


- Ability to operate and influence in a matrix structure and be sensitive to cross functional matters &
geographical sensitivities

- Regular liaison with Sales for planning & managing resources as per Sales Funnel

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

- Engineering Graduate with minimum 12 years of experience in understanding ecosystem of software


development projects ; strong understanding of complete SDLC;

- Responsible for managing all facets of operations such as forecasting, scheduling, monitoring volumes
while adjusting the resources to business objectives.

- Deep understanding of where resources are held in the organization and what they are doing and
advice on resource deployment and allocation. Resource reusability and traceability

- Proficient in Project Management & workforce management software tools & processes.

- Experience of participating in Project Review meeting, analyze resource status on the Projects &
resolve issues & escalations.

- Strong Process orientation with ability to take up independent charge and perform.

- Commercial orientation to appreciate Business Needs.

- Effective written and oral communication.

- Strong Collaborative Leadership qualities

Key Responsibilities

 Support Country Head with both org level and India level initiatives focused on productivity
improvements, resource management and employee engagement.
 Effective in problem solving ability, passion to make a difference in the organization and who
can take the ideas and convert them to reality.
 Plan and manage budget, including capital expenditures and operational expenditures and
headcount, lead all aspects of financial review/approval flows, govern resource planning, from
both a strategic as well as a tactical planning perspective
 Effectively work across functional teams for overall strategy planning, program planning and
management to support strategic goals
 Enable a culture of innovation
 Develop effective partnerships and work collaboratively with key business partners (HR, Finance,

 Engineering Graduate or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Master’s in Business


Administration (MBA) or PGDBM
 Certified in one or more of the following areas – PMP, Prince 2, CSM, ITIL, AGILE Safe, Six Sigma,
CMMi, ISO, etc.

Role Description

 Establish a robust workforce repository and operations dashboard for all resource management,
work force planning, talent acquisition, skill gap assessment & resource deployment; as the single
source of truth for Global Delivery
 Extensive, hands-on experience in Resource management, business & IT process re-engineering,
Quality Assurance and driving strategic initiatives in large organizations
 Assess demand and evaluate accurate capacity to fulfill the demands at hand
 Monitor and drive effective capacity planning aligned to the organization’s goals & objectives
 Devise governance model and ensure adherence across GD
 Identify Performance KPIs for the team’s success and showcase the same on a monthly basis
 Establish credibility with stakeholders. Instate & drive a good operating and governance model
 Manage P&L for all domains with the help of finance and aim to lower GD net
 Simplify approval and recruitment processes and instate right governance and controls in place
whilst reducing administration burden on delivery leads
 Devise Operating Model and Resource Plan such that Global Delivery achieves 10% efficiency

 Ability to assess experience & maturity of incoming resources and ensuring all new resources
are brought in at the correct level; not higher
 Automate the current process of effort entry on multiple tools such as Planisware, Jira, remedy,
Solution Manager and ServiceNow and bring in efficiencies
 Automate current process of refreshing the Workforce Ops dashboard from Planisware
 Ability to negotiate better terms & conditions with vendor Planisware and get customizations
built for Schneider Digital at low cost
 Evaluate the feasibility of using other tools for resource management such as Jira versus
Planisware w.r.t. efficiency, cost effectiveness, data refreshes on the dashboard and other factors
 Ability to lead large scale transformation initiatives such as Innovation, Automation, Virtual
Tours, Executive Meets, Edison Reviews and Program managing all transformation and Leadership
activities across Global Delivery
 Analyze monthly & weekly Operational metrics and provide insights into how delivery leads can
better improve their performance
 Enable finance reconciliation for charge back to various businesses and practices
 Ability to lead a team of professionals on workforce operations and quality
