1. EMM Report
This section documents the Electronic Miscellaneous Management Report (EMM), which
SITA provides daily to each host airline with Electronic Miscellaneous Document capability.
This report contains all transactions on Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMD-A and
EMD-S) in the 24-hour period ending at midnight (00:00) in the UTC time zone of the file date.
The EMM report layout is based on the Electronic Ticketing Management Report (ETM) and
the derived Electronic Ticketing Lift report (ETLR). The EMM starts with a report header,
then sets of data records for each primary EMD which contains at least one coupon that had
at least one status change since the previous report, and completed with the report trailer.
EMDs are reported in increasing numerical order.

X00-Document Header
Where possible, EMM records have been carried forward from the equivalent records in the
ETM and derived ETLR reports. The EMM document header record is one such record.
Uniquely, this record has been split into sub-records for documentation purposes (also
carried forward from ETM/ETLR). The split into different sub-records is purely conventional
all appearing within the same record, so the first 23 characters of the document header form
the record header, the next 3 characters the special data, the next 83 the X00-25-Data group,
etc.

This record documents the association or issued in connection with status of the EMD. An
association is between an EMD-A coupon and (typically) an ETKT coupon. An EMD-S
document can be issued in connection with another document (typically ETKT), and an EMD-
S coupon can be issued in connection with another document (typically ETKT) coupon. As
such, each individual X75-Related Document Data record shows a mapping between an
EMD document and a related document. The normal cross referencing of coupons does not
apply to this record. Instead, where a coupon is mapped to another coupon, that can be
inferred from the X75-XR9-CPN-CREF and X75-XRB-CPN-CREF fields. When more than
one coupon shares a mapping at the document level, multiple coupon numbers will show in
these fields and order is significant (so first coupon in X75-XR9-CPN-CREF is related to first
coupon in X75-XRB-CPN-CREF etc.)

2. Daily Coupon Exception Report
This section documents the EMD coupon status report (EMCSER), which SITA provides
daily to each host airline with Electronic Miscellaneous Document capability. This report
identifies all “abnormal” status code changes to an EMD coupon within the 24-hour period
ending at midnight (00:00) in the UTC time zone of the file date.
The EMCSER report layout is based on the equivalent report prepared for Electronic
Ticketing (ETCSER). When there is data, EMDs are grouped first by validating carrier, and
then by status update, EMD/coupon number and time (same coupon can appear more than
once in report if transactions require it). When there is no data, the report consists of a single
line indicating nothing to report.
An “abnormal” status change is defined as:
n Any status change to original/open for use, or
n Any final status to any other status (including a different final status), or
n Any status other than original/open for use to closed
Report Structure
The report is split into pages, each with a header. A new page is triggered for different
validating carrier, or when the page is “full” (currently after 52 entries). The page header
identifies the period covered, when the report was run, and the validating carrier for the EMDs
on the page.
The remainder of the report consists of one line per abnormal status change, split into
columns as shown by the table below, and completed with a total line indicating the number of
EMD status changes in the report.
