Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone.

First of all, I will share the differences between qualitative and quantitative. For the main purpose of
qualitative is to understand and interpret social interactions. The group of studies in qualitative is
smaller and not randomly selected. Next, the type of data collection for this term are in word,
images or objects. While for the main purpose of quantitative are to test hypotheses, look at cause
and effect, and to make predictions. Quantitative research is a type of educational research in which
the researcher decides what to study. The group of studies in quantitative are larger and randomly
selected. Next, the type of data collection for quantitative in numbers and statistics. Quantitative
data based on precise measurements using structured & validated data-collection instruments.

For me, I will choose the quantitative method because it more easy to use this method because
typically we are looking to quantify the degree and accentuate objective measurements through
polls, questionnaires, and surveys, or by manipulating an existing statistical data using computational
techniques. Quantitative research is more preferred over qualitative research because it is more
scientific, objective, fast, focused and acceptable. Also that, this method are more scientific because
it has a large amount of data is gathered and then analyzed statistically. This almost erases bias, and
if more researchers ran the analysis on the data, they would always end up with the same numbers
at the end of it. Also that, it more easily to deals with larger samples. The results are based on larger
sample sizes that are representative of the population. The large sample size is used to gain
statistically valid results in customer insight. Summarily, the goal in quantitative research is to
understand the relationship between an independent and dependent variable in a population.

That’s all from me. Thank you!
