Situation: The number of asymptomatic individuals from LSI’s in a municipality has increased.

GRASPS Narrative:

The number of asymptomatic individuals from LSI’s has increased. Due to the alarming case, the
IATF of the municipality plans to accommodate the increasing number of these asymptomatic
individuals from LSI’s to be quarantined. As the resident engineer, you are tasked to make a project
proposal of a quarantine facility considering the location, materials and area of the land allotted. Your
recommendation will be evaluated based on accuracy, practicality, mathematical justification and
presentation.

Transfer Goal:
Student on their own and in the long run will be able to use key concepts of factors of polynomials in
creating models of real life problems involving areas and dimensions that will serve as basis in
making wise decisions.
