Today’s Topic: Clothing
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Please read the MEMO carefully,
1. As we patiently wait for the approval for us to resume our session in KAA, home
learning tasks will be given on the dates stated below (alternate day basis):
Dates of home tasks: 1st , 3rd, 7th , 9th ,13th , and 15th July 2020
2. We have been taking into consideration on the feedback given by parents and the
Graduate Teachers’ Team has decided that all the tasks will be sent out via Whatsapp
only. Google Classroom will no longer be available starting from the 29th of April
onwards. The worksheets for the month of July is a combined responsibility of all the
KAA Teaching staff. If parents/guardians wish to have the worksheet to be sent
through email, please provide your email address and contact your child’s EIP teacher.
*All worksheets are only for INTERNAL USAGE only.*

3. For worksheets, parents are now given the OPTION to pick and choose the
worksheet you would like your child to complete. We believe that parents/guardians
understand better in determining which worksheet/task that will be suitable according
to your child's abilities. We have tried our best to balance out each task so everyone
can enjoy doing it. Don’t be afraid to prompt your child as prompting
(scaffolding/ZPD) is also part of the learning process.

(Note: “Vygotsky scaffolding is part of the education concept “Zone of Proximal

Development (ZPD)” which is the set of skills or knowledge a student can’t do on
s/he own but can do with the help or guidance/prompting of someone else.”)

4. Teachers will be available from 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday (working days) for
any extra inquiries and we would appreciate if parents/guardians can update our
teachers on their daily tasks. Our teachers will need to update to our group chat
everyday and we will reach out to parents who failed to respond to us.
5. Upon completing each worksheet, additional activities like Indoor and Outdoor
Activity/Science Project/Art and Craft will also be included. Please share your
pictures with your child’s respective teachers via Whatsapp/telegram as it will be
recorded in their Individual Service Plan when the MCO is lifted. For worksheets, be
it printed or hand written, we will compile it when KAA re-opens.

Sila baca MEMO ini dengan teliti,

1. Memandangkan kita masih menunggu kelulusan untuk beroperasi semula, KAA

akan terus melaksanakan pembelajaran dari rumah seperti sebelumnya tetapi
pembelajaran kali ini akan dilakukan secara berkala iaitu;

2. Kami telah mempertimbangkan maklum balas yang diberikan oleh ibu bapa, dan
kertas kerja pada bulan Julai ini telah disediakan oleh guru-guru Persatuan Autisme
Kuching dan kami telah memutuskan untuk kesemua latih tubi/tugasan akan
diedarkan melalui aplikasi Whatsapp sahaja oleh Guru masing-masing. Kelas atas
talian “Google Classroom” tidak akan tersedia mulai 29 April 2020 (Rabu)
sehingga seterusnya. Jika ibu bapa/penjaga ingin latih tubi/tugasan dihantar melalui
e-mel, sila berikan alamat e-mel anda kepada Guru masing-masing.

*Kesemua latih tubi/tugasan adalah untuk KEGUNAAN DALAMAN sahaja

3. Bagi latih tubi/tugasan, ibu bapa/penjaga kini diberikan PILIHAN untuk memilih
latih tubi/tugasan yang anda ingin anak anda lengkapkan/siapkan. Kami percaya ibu
bapa/penjaga lebih tahu tentang kemampuan anak masing-masing. Kami telah
berusaha sedaya upaya untuk mengimbangkan latih tubi/tugasan supaya para pelajar
dapat menikmati proses pembelajaran di rumah. Jangan takut untuk
membantu/membimbing anak anda kerana bantuan/bimbingan (scaffolding/ZPD)
adalah salah satu proses dalam pembelajaran & pengajaran.

4. Guru-guru akan bersedia dan membantu dari jam 8.00 pagi sehingga 5.00 petang,
Isnin – Jumaat (semasa hari bekerja) untuk sebarang pertanyaan/persoalan dan kami
amat menghargai sekiranya ibu bapa/penjaga boleh memaklumkan kepada Guru
masing-masing tentang perkembangan anak anda mengenai tugasan harian mereka di
rumah. Guru-guru juga diminta untuk melaporkan perkembangan tugasan harian
pelajar masing-masing di dalam Group Chat setiap hari dan kami akan mencuba
untuk menghubungi ibu bapa/penjaga yang gagal memberi respon/maklum balas
kepada Guru.

5. Selain itu, Ibu bapa/ penjaga juga boleh menghantar gambar anak-anak anda yang
sedang melakukan aktiviti-aktiviti seperti Motor Halus/ Motor Kasar/ Penghasilan
Manik/ Melukis/ Kerja Rumah/Sains Projek melalui aplikasi WhatsApp/Telegram
kepada guru masing-masing untuk direkod dalam fail pelajar tersebut. Bagi tugasan
yang memerlukan kertas kerja, ibu bapa/penjaga digalakkan untuk mencetak/ ditulis
tangan bagi setiap latihan disediakan /dikepilkan dan akan dihantar selepas tamatnya
PKP kelak kepada Guru pelajar tersebut.
