I USED TO TAKE A LONG TIME "GETTING MY FACE BACK" IN
THE MORNING, AND THIS IS WHY I'VE CREATED THIS QUICK
LITTLE GUIDEBOOK FOR YOU.
FOLLOW THIS STEP-BY-STEP FACEYOGA ROUTINE AND
START YOUR DAY WITH YOUR BEST FACE FORWARD. ENJOY!

DO YOUR FACE EXERCISES

MORNING ROUTINE
YOUR MORNING WORKOUT
ALL EXERCISES ARE DONE LYING DOWN. REMOVE THE
PILLOW, ELONGATE YOUR SPINE, LOWER YOUR SHOULDERS
AND BREATHE SLOW AND DEEP. NOW YOU ARE READY TO
GET SOME LIFE BACK INTO YOUR FACE.

CAT EYES
Strengthens and adds
vitality to the eye area.
Releases stagnation,
adhesions, and tension
at the outer corner of
the eyes, which causes
crow's feet.

Place the base of


your palms on your
temples, above the
cheekbones so they
cover the ends of
your eyebrows from
the arch.
Press into the
temples pulling
backward and
upwards, so you feel
a pull at the outer
corner of your eyes.
Squeeze your eyes
shut, so you feel the
eyelids pressing
together and in
towards your eyes.
Feel the resistance
from the palms of

your hands on your
eye muscles.

Hold for 30 seconds,


then relax. Repeat 3

EYE ALIGN
This exercise creates
symmetry and enhances
the natural shape of
the eyes. It also works
on relaxing the eye
area.

Close your eyes.


Look up and into
your eyebrows behind
closed eyelids. Keep
this gaze throughout
the exercise.
Tap with your
fingers around your
eyes.
Start at the cheeks,
tapping at the
temples, ending over
the eyebrows, and
then back again.

Repeat 5 times

BROW PRESS Works on forehead wrinkles by
strengthening the eye muscles.
Lifts sagging eyelids, works on the
lower eye area and reverses frown
lines, furrows, and forehead lines.

Relax your forehead


and place the palm
ends directly on your
eyebrows. - - Cover
as much eyebrow as
possible.
Fold your hands over
your skull.
Press your palms
into your eyebrows,
pull to the side and
upward, so you feel a
stretch between your
eyebrows, slightly
lifting your eyelids.
Squeeze your eyelids
tightly, so you feel
the eye muscles
pulling downwards on
your eyebrows. For
some, it will feel like
frowning.
Keep the pressure of
your hands and the
contracting of your
eyelids, making
opposite resistance.

Hold for 30 seconds,

then relax. Repeat 3
times.

MORNING ROUTINE
FOREHEAD
KNUCKLES
Relaxes tension on the
forehead, which can
cause permanent
forehead wrinkles.

Place your hands


with the palms
facing towards your
face.
Make fists and place
the knuckles on your
forehead.
Slowly turn your face
from side to side,
gliding the knuckles
over your forehead
muscle and skin.
Feel the release of
the forehead muscle
and tension as you
breathe deeply and
repeat 10 times.

YOUR MORNING RITUAL BEGINS
WITH A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP
STRESS AND HIGH CORTISOL LEVELS ARE AT THE ROOT OF
PREMATURE AGING. BE MINDFUL ABOUT WHEN YOU GO TO
BED AND HOW YOU SLEEP.

HOW IS YOUR
BEDROOM?
Some people are
excellent sleepers, and
some are not. If you
feel tired and drained
in the morning, take a
look at these ideas for
sleeping better:

Keep your bedroom


cool and well
circulated.
Be sure you are not
bothered by the
light. Your eyes are
the sensors for
knowing when to be
awake and when to
sleep. Although you
may not be aware of
it, just a small
amount of light (like
from looking at your
phone) is enough to
cause havoc in your
hormones.
