Notes 1.1
When performing the work steps and checks, the general safety information for medical
products must be observed.
Control Cabinets
WARNING Even after switching off the system (shutdown), power is still
present in the control cabinet and generator.
Disregarding safety precautions can result in death or seri-
ous bodily injury.
¹ Observe the warning labels in the electronic cabinets.
¹ Switch off the power supply to the X-ray system with
the on/off switch installed on-site.
Screenshots and graphics used in this document should be viewed as examples only.
They cannot describe all possible input combinations; they have an informative character
and are used only for better orientation.
The actual parameters that must be configured can be found in the text and the tables, or
depend on the requirements and configuration (items included in the shipment) of the indi-
vidual system.
Pre-Connect Tool 0
For the first test of the network connection from the medical system to the Siemens Remote
Service Center, the "SRS Pre-Connect tool" can be downloaded from the Siemens Intranet
on the CS home page: For service/Product information/Siemens Remote
service under installation/system/installation Instructions.
The tool and documentation “Pre-Connect Tool Setup Software“ and “Pre-Connect Tool
Vxxx Install Instructions“ can be found there.
NOTE At least one connection from the SRS server to the FL-C must
have been successfully established during router configura-
tion by the responsible SIEMENS person (SRS Help Desk). A
ping from the FL-C to the Siemens Remote Server / System
Management server also has to be successful!
• The Project Manager sends the completed checklist to SCM (SCM Supply Chain Man-
agement) = Production Forchheim)
• SCM completes the checklist and passes the configuration order to the SRS Help Desk
(Tel.: +49 9191 18 8080 - 191) or via e-mail to: srs_final.med@siemens.com.
• The SRS Help Desk configures the system on the SRS server

General 0
The System Management Tool monitors the Flcompact.log and automatically sends mes-
sages to the System Management server and transfers logs from the FLUOROSPOT Com-
pact to the SRS server (for this, the Event Management transfer H checkbox must
be activated under <Configuration> <RDIAG>) (see (Configuring FTP / p. 17)).
The System Management Tool is part of the FLUOROSPOT Compact SW CD. However,
System Management is activated by the customer.
Prerequisites 0
• Before system configuration can be performed, the SRS router/VPN configuration and
the server configuration must be performed.
• The setup for SRS remote diagnostics (Siemens Remote Service (SRS) System
Setup / p. 10) must have been performed and must function.
NOTE The status of the MNP is updated with selection of the Sys-
tem Management tab card. This takes approx. 3 - 4 seconds.
During this time, a DOS window is displayed in the bottom
right corner on the display. Please wait for further activities
until the DOS window closes again.
Fig. 6:
• After selecting the corresponding Location, the Server Name and TCP/IP
address appear dimmed.
• If Location - Other is selected, predefined data cannot be entered for Server Name
and TCP/IP address (currently not used).
• To test the Connectivity, press the <Ping> button. Since this is a very time-critical
action, it is possible that a connection is not immediately established. Because of this,
several attempts should be made.
The server must send back a message (Fig. 7 / p. 20).

If there are any questions or any problems, please contact the following Help Desk:
Outside NAT 0
NOTE Outside NAT can be also called: Server NAT or Manager NAT
Outside NAT means the customer defines certain IP addresses that are used by the med-
ical system to communicate with the Siemens environment (e.g. SRS access server). If the
customer uses this function, the NAT addresses have to be configured in the FTP and Sys-
tem Management settings; otherwise, SRS will not work. Please contact the SRS Help
Desk for assistance.
To determine whether or not there is an outside NAT is available.
Outside NAT requires major changes to the SRS configuration that starts in the router con-
figuration. It therefore should be communicated to the CSE prior to performing the SRS
configuration.
If there is no information available, please perform the test, described under Test Ping not
alive.
If Outside NAT is used, please contact the SRS Help Desk (+49 919118 8080-191) for clar-
ification and configuration of the SRS environment.
Inside NAT 0
Inside NAT is needed if the IP address is already being used by another customer on the
SRS server (duplicate IP addresses are not permitted on the SRS server).
In most cases, Inside NAT is implemented on the SRS router. The IP address of the system
remains unchanged in the customer's network; if the system sends data over the SRS
router, the IP address is translated.
1. Press the <Command prompt> button on the System Management tab card.
¹ A DOS window will appear at the bottom right edge of the screen.
- For a better overview, drag the DOS window to the center of the screen and expand
it.
- The current path as it is displayed in the DOS window is:
C:\MagicWatch\service\mwtools>
2. Enter the command telnet 194.138.39.18 21, according the connected Remote Ser-
vice center (Tab. 6 / p. 34).
Tab. 6 Telnet Commands
3. With a successful connection, the system management server answers with its host
name and the SRS server with its FTP account and IP address.
You have to press CTRL; + and ↵ to leave the Telnet connection. Type Quit to exit the
connection.
4. If the connection fails, the following message appears: Connecting to 194.138.39.18
... Could not open to host port 21: Connection failed. In this case, the SRS Help
Desk (SRS Help Desk / p. 32) has to be contacted immediately for fault analysis.
