The Importance for Pupils to Learn English

English language is an international language. It keeps us in contact with other around
the world. Many countries in the world made English as a second language. So, there are
many reasons why pupils should learn English.
First, English is very important for further studying at university. Many books and
journals are written in English. If you not good in English, you are going to have a big
problem studying at university. English can enhance our knowledge and develop our
confident.
The second reason is, if you can speak English it will easier for you to have
possibilities in the job market. English is a requirement in any job advertisement. The
interviewer surely talks to you in English. If you can respond in English fluently you will
give a good impression to the interviewer. Besides that, a company prefers to hire an
employee who has a good skill in language especially English.
Furthermore, almost electronic devices use English especially computing and internet.
English is not only use in hardware, but it is use in software. Every command in the computer
is in English. So, to operate it people should understand English language. There is a lot
information in the internet also written in English.
English can help you communicate with other people when you travel. Almost many
countries in the world are using English as a second language. For example, announcement in
airport will do in English. It is hard for you if you don’t understand English well. Maybe you
don’t know where to go and what to do at the airport. It is very dangerous because there are
many bad people will take an advantage with your bad communication and conversation in
English.
The importance of English cannot be denied. English language is useful and helpful.
So, learning English is very important to us.
