An endgame Mage only guide with focus on Class/Spec. and pet combinations, item choices and spell
decks.
Stats buffs and abilities from Classes and Specializations can be seen ingame, so i wont go into details
in here.
Again all of the following is my opinion so be sure to tell me what you like and do not like!

T9 Classes:

+ the high god class matching your faction

Omnimancer, the first class you want to buy for his spells and abilities.
Straight upgrade from necromancer.
Then as follow up you want to get the new God Class matching your faction for their respective skills
they learn, such as the Seal spells and Deific Channel.

T10 Classes:
Heretic
Specs:

or cataphract for more defense

(if you don´t use dragon scroll which you should)

Maji, the best spec if you want to go pure magic, since it it buffs your magic stat, lowers your mana costs
and gives you access to great meditation.

Not worth using. Not even worth considering. Only for strong pets. Not worth it.

Pets:

Mighty Mimic and Anubis are perfect if you are Damage oriented since they use the V and the VI spells,
which can deal insane dmg if you buff yourself. Cthulhu is more on the healing/defensive side with
drain/tidal seal and prism shield. Fafnir on the other hand can be very disruptive and cleanse status
effects for you.

Either more melee based or to defensive, so i do not see any point in using them.

Arisen Demeter Staff/Ithras Staff or Arisen Imagination have the highest magic stats in the game atm,
and offer even more bonus stats/ buffs and debuffs (using these in arena and raids is highly
recommended).

Arisen Terror and Arisen Horror are the most useful if you want to increase your orns/gold or item drop
rate, so i recommend using them for gauntlets and world.

Lyonesse crown or Old Nothren Crown are the best headpieces statswise and can be combined with
Robe of the North and Ifrits Feet for a very high and balanced defense, but if you want to grind orns you
might switch back to mythril helmet and reapers robe if you can survive.

Arisen Monster Tome, gives the highest EXP multiplier so far so for xp grind use this.
