Impact of China-Pakistan relations on India’s peace and security

The objective of this research paper is to analysis the impacts of China-Pakistan relations on
India’s peace and the security, and how if these two countries didn’t exist will there be any
other threat on India from any other country.

The relationship between China and Pakistan dates back to 1950, when Pakistan and Cuba were
the first two countries to provide assistance to the People's Republic of China (modern-day
China), thus breaking diplomatic links with the Republic of China (modern-day Taiwan), after
a long period of civil war between the two founding parties of these regions. This marked the
start of a long and fruitful relationship between these two countries, which can still be seen
today, with both nations benefiting from each other by establishing the Pakistan-China axis
and altering Asia's geopolitics.

China has always regarded Pakistan as its younger brother and has always aided it with
diplomatic, commercial, and technological assistance. Pakistan has received Chinese assistance
in the construction of nuclear power plants and other development projects. China also has a
free trade deal with Pakistan, making China Pakistan's third largest trading partner. China has
also provided Pakistan with technical experience in its nuclear projects in the past, which has
assisted Pakistan in combating the nuclear threat faced by India, which has successfully
concluded many nuclear programs and possesses major nuclear weapons. In exchange,
Pakistan has played a crucial role in strengthening China's ties with Muslim countries and the
United States, as well as providing China with access to its coastal line, allowing China to
expand trade with the Middle East and play a more strategic role in Indian Ocean waters against
India. As a result, all of these countries have worked together to prevent India from being an
economic and military powerhouse.

These China-Pakistan relations could be a threat to India’s peace and security, as both these
neighbouring countries could attack it, and there’s also the conflict of Kashmir between them
and all the strategic alliances between China and Pakistan is a problem for India.
