China’s population growth records
lowest rate in decades: China Census
 According to the 7th census conducted by
China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS),
China’s annual population growth stood at
‘0.53%’ in the last decade (2010-20), the lowest
since 1953.
 China’s population stood at 1.41 Billion in 2020,
an increase of 72 million or 5.38% growth
compared to the last census in 2010.
 The main cause of slowing growth rate has been
attributed to China’s ‘one-child policy’.
 China’s population is expected to reach its peak
in 2025.
 According to Chinese demographers, India may
overtake China as the most populous country by
2023 or 2024, much sooner than the UN projects
of 2027.
Saudi Arabia joins ‘Net Zero Producers
Forum’ on climate change
 The five countries which are responsible for 40%
of oil and gas production – Saudi Arabia (the
world’s biggest crude exporter), Qatar, the
United States, Canada and Norway have
launched a cooperative forum on climate called
“Net Zero Producers Forum”.
 By 2030, Saudi Arabia aims to reduce its carbon
emissions by generating 50% of the country’s
energy from renewables and the United States
plans to achieve net-zero emission by 2050.
 US President Joe Biden unveiled plans to cut
emissions by 50%-52% from 2005 levels.
US set to partner with India to achieve
its target of 450 GW of RE by 2030
 The United States (US) is set to partner with
India on climate change, it will assist India to
achieve its target of deploying 450 GigaWatts
(GW) of Renewable Energy (RE) by 2030.

 China issued a total ban on synthetic
cannabinoids, thus becoming the world’s first
country to ban all synthetic cannabinoid
substances.
 Synthetic Cannabinoids are human made
chemicals. They are designer drugs. A designer
drug is a functional and structural analog of a
controlled substance that is designed to mimic
the pharmacological effects of the original drug.
World’s largest iceberg A-76 breaks off
in Antarctica
 An enormous iceberg 'A-76' has calved from the
western side of the Ronne Ice Shelf, lying in the
Weddell Sea, in Antarctica.
 It measures around 4320 sq km in size –
currently making it the largest berg in the world.
 The newly calved berg 'A-76' was spotted in
recent satellite images captured by the
Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission.
 Sentinel-1 is one of the missions of the European
Space Agency (ESA) under Copernicus initiative
(an earth observation programme).
 It has surpassed the now second-place A-23A,
about 3,380 sq km in size and also floating in the
Weddell Sea

Agriculture Ministry allocates Rs 2250
crore for horticulture sector for FY
2021-22
 The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
(MoA&FW) has allocated Rs 2250 crore for the
FY 2021-22 for ‘Mission for Integrated
Development of Horticulture’ (MIDH), a
centrally sponsored scheme. It aims at
developing the horticulture sector in the FY
2021-22.
 During the FY 2019-20, India recorded its
highest ever horticulture production of 320.77
Million Tonnes (MT) from an area of 25.66
million hectares.
 As per estimates for 2020-21, the total
horticulture production in India stood at 326.58
lakh MT from an area of 27.17 lakh hectares.
 Mission for Integrated Development of
Horticulture (MIDH) has been implemented
since 2014-15.The main objective is to ensure
holistic growth and development of Indian
horticulture sector.
Startup ‘Jupitice’ develops world’s 1st
private digital court for dispute
resolution
 ‘Jupitice Justice Technologies’, an Chandigarh-
based startup has developed world’s 1st Private
Digital Court (powered by Blockchain &
Artificial Intelligence) to resolve disputes under
the Private Justice System through Alternative
Dispute Resolution Mechanisms (ADR).
 The startup has collected ADR professionals
across the world to form its own ‘Marketplace’.
It will make it easier for justice seekers to
connect with justice providers.
 It will help MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium
Enterprises) to resolve their cross-border disputes
without any jurisdiction barrier.

Area of summer crops increased by
21.58% in 2021
 Area of cultivation of summer crops increased by
21.58% in 2021 from 2020. i.e. summer crops
were cultivated in 80.02 lakh hectares in 2021 as
against 65.82 lakh hectares in 2020.
 The increase in the area of summer crops is
mainly due to the sharp increase in cultivation of
pulses area. Pulses were sowed in 17.75 lakh
hectares in 2021 as against 10.49 lakh hectares in
2020, which is a rise of almost 70% in cultivation
area.
 Cultivation area of Oilseeds increased by 12.05%
from 9.58 lakh hectares in 2020 to 10.74 lakh
hectare in 2021.
 Cultivation area of Rice increased by 15.52%
from 35.13 lakh hectares in 2020 to 39.43 lakh
hectare in 2021.
MoSJE mandates States/UTs to issue
disability certificates through UDID
portal
 The Department of Empowerment of Persons
with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social
Justice & Empowerment (MoSJE) has issued a
notification mandating all State/UT Governments
to issue a certificate of disability through online
mode only using Unique Disability ID Portal
(UDID Portal) – (www.swavlambancard.gov.in)
from June 1, 2021.
 The requirement of a certificate of disability is
mandated under the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act, 2016).

inducted in Indian Railways
 The Indian Railways inducted its 100th 12000
HP WAG 12 B locomotive manufactured by
Madhepura Electric Locomotive Private Limited
(MELPL), Bihar, one of India’s largest integrated
greenfield manufacturing facilities & produced
under the Make in India programme. The number
of the locomotive, WAG 12 B is 60100.
External Affairs Minister Jaishankar’s
visit to the United Kingdom
 India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar
visited London, United Kingdom from May 3-6,
2021 to participate in the G7 Foreign &
Development Ministers Meeting. India has been
invited as a Guest Country to the meeting by the
UK.
 The G7 Countries are Britain, United States
(US), Canada, France, Germany, Italy & Japan.
 The 1st Trilateral Ministerial Dialogue between
India-France-Australia was held on the sidelines
of the G7 meeting.

from May 3-6, 2021

Dharmendra Pradhan flags off 1st
supply of used cooking oil-based
biodiesel
 Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas
Dharmendra Pradhan virtually flagged off the 1st
supply of UCO (Used Cooking Oil) based
Biodiesel blended Diesel from Indian Oil’s
Tikrikalan Terminal, Delhi. It is part of the
Expression of Interests (EoI) scheme.
 It was aimed at creating an ecosystem for
collection and conversion of UCO into Biodiesel
and develop entrepreneurship opportunities.
 India has set a target to achieve 5% blending of
Biodiesel in Diesel by 2030.
 EoI Scheme:The initiative has been carried out in
2 phases,
 Under Phase 1 – 11 EoIs were floated between
August,2019 to November, 2020 for 200
locations.
 Under Phase 2 – EoIs have been extended for one
more year up to December, 2021 for 300
locations across India.
Labour Ministry notifies Section 142 of
Social Security Code, 2020
 Ministry of Labour & Employment has notified
Section 142 of the Social Security Code, 2020
which covers the applicability of Aadhar. It will
enable the Labour Ministry to collect Aadhar
data of workers in the Unorganized Sector.
 The Aadhar details will be uploaded in the
National Database for Unorganised Workers
(NDUW) which is being developed by National
Informatics Centre (NIC).
 It will help the government to extend benefits to
the workers under various social security
schemes.The Social Security Code, 2020 is yet to
be implemented in India.

 Around 581 sites have been identified by the
Government for setting up additional PSA

Central Government sets road
construction worth Rs 15 lakh crore as
target for next 2 years
 Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road
Transport and Highways has stated that the
Government has set a target of road construction
of worth Rs 15 lakh crore in the next 2 years.
 Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is set to
achieve its target of constructing highways of 40
Kms per day in FY 2021-22. The Government
has also permitted 100% Foreign Direct
Investment (FDI) in the road sector.
MCCIA, NABARD launch India’s 1st
agriculture export facilitation center in
Pune
 Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries &
Agriculture (MCCIA) in partnership with
National Bank for Agriculture and Rural
Development (NABARD) has launched India’s
1st Agriculture Export Facilitation Center
(AEFC) in Pune, Maharashtra.
 AEFC will help in boosting Maharashtra’s
agricultural and food exports and wil help in
meeting Global Standards.
 It will act as a one-stop-shop for the export of
agri-food productions. The center was virtually
inaugurated by Dr G.R. Chintala, Chairman of
NABARD. India ranks 13th in the world in the
agricultural export.
Six places added to India’s tentative
list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites
 Minister of State (Independent Charge) for
Culture Prahlad Singh Patel stated that 6 places

 During a virtual meeting between India’s
Minister of State for Culture & Tourism
(Independent Charge) Prahlad Singh Patel &
Mongolia’s Minister of Culture, Chinbat Nomin,
renewed the Cultural Exchange Program (CEP)
between the two countries until 2023.
 The CEP was signed during Prime Minister
Narendra Modi’s visit to Mongolia in May, 2015.
 The cooperation under the program will be
discussed in meetings between senior officers of
the Culture Ministries of India & Mongolia.
 India’s Culture Ministry is set to complete
reprinting of 100 sets of Sacred Mongolian
Kanjur by 2022 for distribution in Mongolia.
MHA extends FCRA registration for
NGOs till September 30, 2021
 The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has
extended the validity of registration certificates
granted to Non- Government Organisations
(NGOs) under the Section 50 of Foreign
Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010
until September 30, 2021 due to restrictions
imposed in view of COVID-19.

 The registration certificates of many NGOs were
set to expire or expired during September 29,
2020-May 31, 2021.
 The decision will benefit many NGOs as it is
mandatory for them to register under the FCRA

India to launch mobile tech platform
‘UNITE AWARE’ for UN peacekeepers
in August 2021
 India is developing a mobile tech platform called
‘UNITE AWARE’, to make use of technology in
the safety and security of UN peacekeepers.
 India is working on this project in collaboration
with UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations
and the Department of Operational Support.
 India is contributing $1.64 million towards the
project.
 UNITE AWARE will help to increase situational
awareness and provide terrain-related
information to peacekeepers, because field-
focused, reliable and cost-effective new
technologies have become need of the hour in
peacekeeping operations that are driven by
practical needs of end users.
 The project UNITE AWARE will be launched in
August 2021 when India will be the assuming the
Presidency of the 15-nation UN Security
Council.
WHO names Covid-19 variants first
found in India as ‘Kappa’ and ‘Delta’
 The UN health agency, World Health
Organisation (WHO), has given easy-to-say
labels to two variants of the Covid-19, first found
in India. The two variants are B.1.617.1 and
B.1.617.2. The B.1.617.1 variant of the Covid 19
has been named as ‘Kappa’ while the B1.617.2
variant is named as ‘Delta.’
 The naming of these variants do not aim at
replacing the existing scientific names of these
#SARSCoV2 Variants of Concern (VOCs) &
Interest (VOIs), but is aimed at helping the public
discussion about VOI/VOC.

IFFCO introduces world’s first ‘Nano
Urea’ for farmers globally
 Leading cooperative society, IFFCO(Indian
Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative) has launched the
world’s first ”Nano Urea” for farmers across the
world.
 The indigenously developed ”Nano Urea” will be
in liquid form.
 The production of the urea will begin from June
2021.
 The price of Nano Urea has been fixed at Rs 240
per 500 ml bottle. This is 10 percent cheaper than
the cost of a bag of conventional urea.

IBF to be renamed as Indian
Broadcasting and Digital Foundation
(IBDF)
 The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), the
apex body of broadcasters in India, is being
renamed as Indian Broadcasting and Digital
Foundation (IBDF).
 The decision to rename IBF has been taken as
IBF is expanding its purview to cover digital
platforms to bring all digital (OTT) players under
one roof.
 IBDF will be forming a new wholly-owned
subsidiary to handle all matters pertaining to
digital media.It will also form a self-regulatory
body named as Digital Media Content Regulatory
Council (DMCRC) for digital OTT (over-the-
top) platforms.

Citizenship
 Central Government has invited Hindus, Sikhs,
Jains, Buddhists, Parsis and Christians from
Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan to apply
for citizenship in India under the controversial
Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019.

Jharkhand tops in implementation of
smart city Projects: MoHUA
 Jharkhand has clinched the 1st position among
the 36 States & UTs of India based on the
progress of implementation of smart city
projects, Rajasthan came second in the rankings.
The rankings were released by the Ministry of
Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
 The ranking is based on factors like smart city
plan implementation, ongoing work and
tendering process, utilisation of funds and
provision of utility certificates to the Central
Government. They are released frequently by
MoHUA.
 Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi has risen to 12th
position among the 100 Smart Cities ranking.
 In the list of States/UTs, Delhi was ranked at
number 11, Bihar at 27, Patna (Bihar) at 68th
position & New Delhi Municipal Corporation is
at 41st position.
 Smart City Mission was launched in 2015 with
an overlay of INR 48, 000 crores.
 Rs 6, 450 crore was allocated in Union Budget
2021-22 for the Smart Cities Mission.
Telangana signs MoU with NHA for
implementing Ayushman Bharat
 Telangana Medical and Health department has
signed a memorandum of understanding with the
National Health Authority (NHA) for the
implementation of Ayushman Bharat (Pradhan
Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY)) scheme in
the State.
 The guidelines for the implementation of the
Ayushman Bharat Scheme in the State was also
issued by the state Medical and health
department and will be implemented by the
Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.
 The health insurance coverage is for Rs 5 lakh
for beneficiaries.
 Separate PMJAY ecards also will be issued to the
beneficiaries.

to join Global COVAX Alliance
 Punjab is set to become the 1st Indian state to
join the Global COVAX (COVID-19 Vaccines
Global Access) Alliance. Joining the Alliance
will help Punjab to address the Anti-Covid-19
vaccine shortage & to procure vaccines at the
best price.
 Across India, several states are facing shortage of
COVID-19 vaccines, this has prompted state
governments to float global tender for procuring
vaccines.
 COVAX is a global initiative co-led by Coalition
for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI),
GAVI Alliance (formerly the Global Alliance for
Vaccines and Immunisation), World Health
Organization (WHO), and key delivery partner
UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund).
Puducherry becomes 4th ‘Har Ghar Jal’
State/ UT by achieved the target of
100% tap water in rural areas
 Puducherry has become ‘Har Ghar Jal’ Union
Territory(UT) by achieving the target of 100%
piped water connection in rural areas under the
Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)
 With this, Puducherry becomes fourth State/UT
after Goa, Telangana and Andaman & Nicobar
Islands to provide assured tap water supply to
every rural home.
 Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) is a flagship
programme of the Union Government, which
aims to provide tap water connection to every
rural household of the country by 2024.
 In 2021-22 Union Budget,Rs 50,000 Crore has
been allocated for JJM.

 On May 10, 2021, Himanta Biswa Sarma was
sworn in as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam. He

Cyclone Tauktae makes landfall in

 Union Minister for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman
has stated that the real estate fund – ‘Special
Window for Affordable and Mid-Income
Housing (SWAMIH) Investment Fund I’ will
benefit 1.16 lakh home loan borrowers, whose
housing projects were stalled due to funding
issues.
 On May 13, 2021, SWAMIH fund completed its
1st residential project – ‘Rivali Park
Wintergreens’ is located in Mumbai,
Maharashtra.
 It was also the 1st housing project in India to
receive funding under the SWAMIH Fund.
 SWAMIH investment fund I was announced in
2019. It aims to provide last-mile funding to the
stressed affordable and middle-income housing
projects in India.
 It is a Rs 25, 000 crore fund having 14 investors,
with the Government of India holding 50% in the

SEBI doubled the overall limit for
overseas investment by AIFs, VCFs to
$1,500 million
 On May 21, 2021, In consultation with the
Reserve Bank of India(RBI), Securities and
Exchange Board of India (SEBI) doubled the
overall limit of the investment in overseas
markets by alternative investment funds(AIFs),
and Venture Capital Funds(VCFs) registered
under SEBI (VCFs) Regulations, 1996, from
$750 million to $1,500 million (~Rs10,000
crore).
 In 2015, the SEBI had allowed the overseas
investment by AIFs and VCFs to the extent of
$500 million i.e. up to 25 percent of their
investable corpus and later it was increased to
$750 million in 2018.

IOB got Shareholders’ nod for Rs 4,100
crore infusion by central government
 Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) obtained approval
from its shareholders through an Extraordinary
General Meeting (EGM) for the issuance of
246,54,23,932 equity shares to the Government
of India (GoI) on a preferential basis for a capital
infusion of Rs 4,100 crores by GoI in the bank.
 After the capital infusion, the GoI’s shareholding
in IOB increased from 95.84 percent to 96.38
percent.
 Out of Rs 4,100 crore an amount of Rs 2,465.42
crore will be credited to the share capital account
and Rs 1,634.58 crore will be credited to the

Sovereign Gold Bonds for FY22. The Sovereign

and Payment Banks), Stock Holding Corporation
of India Limited (SHCIL), designated post

LIC hiked its stake in Union Bank to

 The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC)

EPFO can invest up to 5% in AIFs
 The Labour Ministry has notified the changes in
the investment pattern of the Employees
Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), which

 This change came after the Government’s recent
modification over the investment pattern of Non-
Government Provident Funds, Superannuation
Funds, and Gratuity Funds to invest in AIFs.
 The EPFO manages more than Rs 12 lakh crore
of retirement savings of over six crore
subscribers. The new investment pattern will be
effective from March 15, 2021.
 The government plans to raise this to 100,000
startups and over 100 unicorns by 2025 by
helping Indian startups become global giants.

India 3rd largest recipient: OECD Data
 According to a new set of data released by the
Organisation for Economic Cooperation and
Development (OECD), the global FDI (Foreign
Direct Investments) dropped by 38% in 2020
(compared to 2019) to USD 846 billion, which is

 Term Liquidity Facility of ₹50,000 crores to ease

 Banks could lend under this scheme for vaccine

RBI Board approved transfer of Rs
99,122 crore as surplus to Govt
 On May 21, 2021, the board of Reserve Bank of
India(RBI) approved the transfer of Rs 99,122
 crore as surplus to the Central government for the
accounting period of 9 months from July 2020 to

the Central Board of Directors of the RBI.
 The current surplus fund transfer is 50 percent
higher than Rs 57,128 crore, the transfer

Contingency Risk Buffer at 5.50% in line with
recommendations of the Bimal Jalan Committee
report.
RBI mandated PPIs interoperability by
March 2022; increased the limit from
Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakhs for Full-KYC
PPIs
 On May 19, 2021, Under Section 18 read with
Section 10(2) of the Payment and Settlement
Systems Act, 2007, The Reserve Bank of India
(RBI) has mandated that all prepaid payment
instruments (PPIs) or mobile wallets such as
Paytm, PhonePe and Mobikwik that are fully
KYC-compliant be made interoperable by March
31, 2022.
 The maximum amount outstanding in full-KYC
PPIs (KYC-compliant PPIs) has been increased
from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakhs by RBI.
 RBI permitted Cash withdrawal from full-KYC
PPIs issued by non-bank PPI issuers with a
Maximum limit of Rs 2,000 per transaction with
an overall limit of Rs 10,000 per month per PPI.
RBI imposed Rs 10 crore penalty on
HDFC Bank for violation of provisions
 The Reserve Bank of India has imposed a fine of
Rs 10 crore on HDFC Bank for deficiencies in
regulatory compliance found in the auto loan
portfolio of the bank.
 As per the RBI, HDFC Bank has violated the
provisions of section 6(2) and section 8 of the
Banking Regulation Act, 1949.
 RBI has imposed the monetary penalty in the
exercise of powers vested by the central bank
under the provisions of Section 47A(1)(c) read
with Section 46(4)(i) of the Banking Regulation
Act.

PM Modi announces Rs 10 lakh PM
CARES fund for kids orphaned due to
COVID-19
 Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a
number of welfare measures for children who lost
their parents to COVID-19.
The welfare measures have been listed below:
 Government has announced “PM-CARES for
Children” scheme under which fixed deposits will
be opened in the names of such children from the
PM-CARES fund.
 The total corpus of fund will be Rs 10 lakh for
each child.
 This corpus will be used to give a monthly
financial support/ stipend when the child reaches
18 years of age, for the next five years to take care
of his or her personal requirements.
 Upon reaching the age of 23 years, the child will
get the corpus amount as one lump sum for
personal and professional use.
Education
 Children under 10 years will be given admission
in the nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya or in a private
school as a day scholar.
 Children between 11-18 years of age will be given
admission in any central government residential
school such as Sainik School and Navodaya
Vidyalaya.
 For higher education, children will be assisted in
obtaining education loan for professional courses
or higher education in India according to existing
norms. The interest on this loan will be paid from
the PM-CARES fund.
Health Insurance
 Each child will be enrolled as a beneficiary under
Ayushman Bharat Scheme (PM-JAY) with a
health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakh.
 The premium amount for these children will be
paid by PM CARES, till they attain age of 18
years.

2.Employees Provident Fund Organization-
Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme
(EDLI)
 The insurance benefits under the EDLI scheme
have been enhanced and liberalized, particularly
to help the families of employees who have lost
their lives due to COVID-19.
 Amount of maximum insurance benefit has been
increased from Rs 6 lakh to Rs. 7 lakh
 The provision of minimum insurance benefit has
been retained at Rs. 2.5 lakh.
 This benefit will apply retrospectively from 15
February 2020 for the next three years, that is 15
February 2022.

 Indian Navy’s 1st destroyer INS Rajput was
decommissioned at Naval Dockyard,

ICC expands men’s ODI cricket world

 The International Cricket Council (ICC) has
announced that the Men’s Cricket World Cup in
2027 and 2031, will once again be a 14-team, 54-
match tournament.
 Earlier in 2019 World Cup, only 10 teams
contested, compared to 14 teams in 2015 World
Cup.
 These 14 teams will split into two groups
containing seven each. Top three from each
group will be progressing to a Super Six stage,
followed by semifinals and final.
 ICC has also decided to expand the men’s T20
World Cup to 20 teams. The tournament will take
place every two years from 2024-2030.

woman flight test engineer
 In yet another first for women in the Indian
military, Aashritha V Olety, an officer of the
Indian Air Force (IAF), graduated from the Air
Force Test Pilot School has become the first
woman flight test engineer in the country.
 As a flight test engineer, Olety will be
responsible for evaluating aircraft and airborne
systems before their induction into the armed
forces.
 Hailing from Karnataka, Olety is among only

Flight test course, since the course began in 1973.

World Food Price Index increased in
April, highest since May 2014: FAO
 The Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO)
Food Price Index (FFPI) has averaged 120.9
points in April 2021, which is 2 points (1.7%)
higher than the FFPI in March 2021 and 28.4
points(30.8%) higher than April 2020.
 This marks the 11th consecutive monthly rise in
the FFPI value to its highest since May 2014.
 The April rise of FFPI was led by the increase in
the price of sugar, followed by oils, meat, dairy
and cereals.
 Sugar Price Index averaged 100.0 points in April,
up 3.8 points (3.9 percent) from March 2021.
 Dairy Price Index averaged 118.9 points in April,
up 1.4 points (1.2 percent) from March, 2021.

India’s renewable capacity addition
falls by 50% to 5.62 GW in 2020: IEA
 According to the new report ‘Renewable Energy
Market Update – Outlook for 2021 and 2022’
released by International Energy Agency (IEA),
India’s Renewable Energy capacity addition
declined by almost 50% to 5.62 GigaWatts (GW)
in 2020 (compared to 2019).
 The report stated that India will add 17 GW
renewable capacity in 2021.
 India has a renewable capacity of around 95 GW
including small hydro and biomass.
 At the Global level, the annual renewable
capacity additions increased 45% to almost 280
GW (up from 190 GW in 2019), which is the
highest year-on year increase since 1999.
 India with a score of 66.2 has been ranked 3rd
out of 40 countries in the 57th Renewable Energy
Country Attractiveness Index (RECAI) – May
2021 – released by Ernst & Young Global Ltd
(EY). The United States (US) topped the index,
