yesterday? commonly used search engines.
What are the five commonly used The five commonly used search engines
search engines? are google, yahoo, bing, AOL, and Ask.

Very good!

5. Motivation

(The teacher shows students a book and

opens Google web browser in the
classroom smart TV).

Who can give me a description of this

Analysis

Where do you prefer to research I prefer books ma’am because I like their
information, through books or smell especially when they’re new, I like
through Google? Why? scanning through papers and I am
comfortable reading at it.

I can see that!

Another hand? I am a fan of reading in digital forms
ma’am because they are more colourful
and beautiful to look at. I don’t feel
sleepy reading on it and I can also look
through different information without
carrying all the load of books with me all
the time.

Nice!
What do you think are the similarities of They are both media outlets that
this book and Google? provide information and entertainment
that we need.

I couldn’t agree more!

Now my question is, what is media and As what have said earlier, media is a tool

Who else can give me some examples of Some of the examples of print media
print media? are newspaper, magazine, newsletter

Nice one! Another hand. I believe print and non-print media has
their special purpose though they share
the same objective but people choose
them particularly according to their
satisfaction. Some people enjoy reading
books than facing computer screens
while other people like graphic and
multimedia arts than looking through
papers and get sleepy. It all depends on
their learning styles and how they
acquire knowledge through different
media sources. The important thing is
that, they got the information they
need.

Very good answers! Everyone let’s clap

our hands for ourselves.

B. Generalization

What have you learned in today’s Today, I have learned that there are two
lesson? types of media; namely, print and
non-print media.

I also learned that print media and

non-print media share the same
objective.

The examples of print media are those

physically printed materials such as
books and newspapers while non-print
media is all about digitals like
smartphones, computer, websites, etc.
I realized that both print and non-print
media are built for special purposes.
Some people are comfortable reading
through papers while other people
prefer to face computer screens and
other digital devices. It all depends on
how helpful is it for them.

Keep up the good work, class!
