point in the course of Philippine history, followed by a revolution that ended more

than 300 years of Spanish rule in the country.

This only shows how united Filipino’s are when it comes to defending their own

land and fellow Filipinos. Jose Rizal’s death put an anger to every Filipinos heart.

They became more hungry for justice and freedom. Due to their unity, bravery, and

come up with an effective way to fight against Spanish colonialism. They exposed the

weakness of Spanish colonial rule and stopped Spaniards from mistreating the people

of their country.

I have learned that one tragic event can change anyone it can affect his/her beliefs

or perspective in life. It can push a person to make a strong decision that can also

create a lot of change.
