This inspection does not release the manufacturer / contractor from any contractual obligations to the purchaser also in case of discrepancies occurring after delivery or within the
period of guaranty. Any defects / deviations observed on receipt of materials at Client’s works / sites shall be intimated to the manufacturer. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer to
rectify / replace the defective material in time and free of cost. Anti-rust must be applied on all the machined surface before dispatch.

Observations / Details of Inspection carried out:

1. The supplier has an office attached to /nearby 4nos. sheds at Santragachi, Jorapukur. All
said four sheds are machine shop.
2. Traceability: There is designated place for raw material storing. Materials lying at stock
yard/shops found marked with Material Grade. Resister of stock is maintained for every
issue of material for specific jobs. Test certificates are available and traceable to material
issue checked for few randomly selected PO and found in order.
3. Inspection: Surface table and space around 40sq-ft available for inspection purpose.
Instruments are well maintained with valid calibration status.
4. CNC VTL and Lathe are installed at different places, VTL at Baltikuri and CNC lathe nearby.
Access to VTL shop was heavily waterlogged due to rain.
5. Induction hardening facility is at Baruipara near Kadamtala.
6. The regular heat treatment shop (having tie-up with Sidyaswari Industries) is situated very
nearby.
7. Hard Chrome plating shop is situated at Dunlop, Kolkata which could not be visited on the
very day.

Conclusion: The supplier is conversant and capable to supply machining components of

sizes as mentioned in attached list. The vendor evaluation performed in line with format
provided by M/s JSPL and filled in copy of the same is attached.
