How Does Social Media Affect Relationships?

One like, two like, three like four

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so much more

Make your own profile

Display your own lifestyle

Making new friends

And even finding someone special,

Every once in awhile

How bad can it be?

In a relationship with Maggie

But liking other girls,

As if she was free

Social media leading to jealousy

Which leads others to see

That someone isn’t as loyal

As their profile portrayed them to be

Led to a heartbreak

Such a huge mistake

Social media causing trust issues

All because you were fake

When liking their profiles,

Maggie thought to herself,

Am I even good enough?

Or does she want somebody else

So now Maggie is a girl,

Who was betrayed

Because of your disloyalty

She is now led astray

Because of social medias simplicity

This led you to find

Someone who was not Maggie

All on social medias time

Getting on social media

Seeing those relationship goals

Looking through profiles,

Wondering who everyone knows

Perfect, perfect that it’s not

Every relationship, hiding its flaws

But that’s okay, no one is perfect after all
