Hat

This is my version of a fedora/bowler hat ‐ with a trendy touch! Novi is a crochet hat with roll‐up 
brim finished with a stripe in contrasting black. This hat is made with simple sc‐ch stitches in an 
aran weight wool yarn. The chunky yarn together with the crochet stitches give the hat the 
structure and form it needs.  A cool and versatile unisex accessory, for him and for her!

MC:  Järbo Garn Raggi, 100g/150 m, 100% wool, grey. CC: small amount of black.

Needle:
1 x   5,5 mm (US I) hook
Tension

17 sts to 10cm measured over pattern using 5,5mm (US I) hook. 
Note: each sc stitch is made in the ch‐sp of last round, not the top of a sc st of last round. 
Hat
Round 1. with MC, ch 2. 10 sc in the first ch. Join in beg. st.  ‐ 10 sts
Round 2. ch 1,  [sc 1, ch 1] in each st.  Join in beg. st. ‐ 20 sts. 
Round 3. sl st to first ch sp, ch 1, [sc 1, ch 1] in same sp,  [sc 1, ch 1] x 2 in next sp. *[sc 1, ch 1] in 
next sp, [sc 1, ch 1] x 2 in next sp*.  * Repeat * ‐ * around.  Join in beg. st  ‐  30 sts.
