Cops, Soldiers Danced in Capas to entertain people while waiting in line at the community
pantry.

25. REPORTER 1: (Local News)

At a community pantry in Capas, Tarlac, many police officers and soldiers performed “budots.”
Because of the entertainment, people in line did not mind the long lines in the food-sharing
initiative. The Maginhawa Street community pantry has been replicated in many locations,
providing regular sustenance to more low-income families.

DILG prepares to implement Duterte order to arrest mask violators.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government will hold a meeting with the Philippine
National Police and local government units to discuss President Rodrigo Duterte's order to
apprehend citizens who do not properly wear their anti-virus masks and (DILG) would have to
reconcile the President’s latest order with existing local ordinances that detail masked-wearing
rules and punishments for violation

Australia announced the first death linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.

3. REPORTER 1: (International News) Rozenne Tolentino

On April 8, a 48-year-old woman died after an injection of the AstraZeneca vaccine. That was
hour before Australian authorities advised citizens under the age of 50 to take the Pfizer shot
instead, because of the slight chance of unusual blood clots associated with AstraZeneca,.
She died on Thursday after being admitted to a Newcastle hospital in New South Wales for
four days.

Although the former Ateneo de Manila University star only appeared in 18 games for the
franchise, Thirdy Ravena's first season with San-En NeoPhoenix was one he "will never
forget." But Ravena sat out the contest due to a sore knee. When he was available to play, he
averaged 9.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game for the team.

7. REPORTER 1: (Showbiz News) Rozenne Tolentino

MANILA, Philippines. Veteran entertainment news editor, columnist, writer, and TV personality
Ricky Lo died last Tuesday night, May 4, due to stroke, where he wrote his FunFare column,
confirmed last Wednesday morning. “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of
our beloved Entertainment editor and columnist, Ricky Lo on May 4, 2021,” Philippine Star
said.Aside from his job in Philippine Star, Lo was also known for being a host of various shows
business-related programs such as ABS-CBN’s entertainment program “The Buzz,” GMA’s
“Startalk,” and his own show on QTV 11, “The Ricky Lo Exclusives”.

Good evening every one! This is Jeslyssa Tolentino for your daily weather forecast.
Since we are now live in FB page of The Daily News 3.0, it’s now much easier to post
your questions! Hit the comments and I’ll get to them after the report.
Now for our weather update as of May 6, Thursday 6:00 P.M our satellite images
shows that finally there is an improved weather conditions over Luzon after
Experiencing heavy rains last few days.
On the other hand, there are some cloudiness over Eastern Visayas and Eastern
Mindanao cloudiness due to the rain bands of a Low Pressure Area (LPA) that is
currently outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
No worries because based on our forecast models, the LPA not develop into a full
tropical cyclone. SouthWest moonson (HABAGAT) still continues to affect the country
by bringing isolated to light rains over the areas of extreme Northern Luzon, Ilocos
Region, Zambales, and Bataan. While for the rest of the country, isolated thunderstorm
are still expected especially in the late afternoon or early evening.
