No.AIU/SG/2021 5" July 2021 Dear Vice Chancellor/Director Greetings from Association of Indian Universities Association of Indian Universities in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAD) is conducting 03 days international conference on ‘Connecting Germany and South Asia - The Future of Higher Education and Research Cooperation’, from 18- 20 October 2021. The conference aims to offer an excellent opportunity for higher education institutions from Germany, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka to connect with key stakeholders across higher education and research spectrum, to discuss the future of international exchange in higher education and share good practices. It will address different aspects of internationalisation including student mobility, intemationalisation at home, international research cooperation, capacity building, the role of alumni, credit transfer systems, digitalisation and many more. The first day of the conference (18 October 2021) is dedicated to parallel sessions designed to provide an engaging exchange of ideas around selected topics. The second day (19 October 2021) will see keynote speeches that focus on trends and developments in the field of internationalisation to provide a global perspective. On the last day (20" October 2021) participants will have the opportunity to collaborate and establish new contacts through B2B meetings. The call for submission of proposals for different sessions is currently open. | request you to encourage faculty and experts from your university to submit the proposals. The proposals could be Individual as well as joint proposals. The deadline for submission of proposal is 10 August 2021.
