This
school year 2020-2021 brought a lot of
changes. One of the major changes in the
country is the new set-up in education. For
this, DepEd introduced the LDM Course. This
course provides knowledge to deliver
education to learners in this new normal
setting by using Self-Learning Modules.
Teachers reached this far and were able to
cope up with the challenges and demands they
are facing in this distance learning situation
because of the learning they gained in LDM
Course.
This Practicum Portfolio contains MOV’s that
we have used in this school year in delivering
our lessons despite of this pandemic. It
contains various artifacts like WHLP, ILMP,
Worksheets, LAS, certificates and even the
conversation made with the parents and
learners.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 3.1. Learners’ gender, needs,
strengths, interest and experiences
ANNOTATIONS
I always contact my pupils and parents for feedbacks and follow-ups. I gave
simple examples and explained to them clearly. I also developed instructional
materials like worksheets with easy examples suited to the level of my learners.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 3.4. Learners in difficult
circumstances
ANNOTATIONS: Some of my parents find it hard to go to school to get the

modules of their children because of their work. Others live too far from the
school while some live with their grandparents only. This pandemic brought
too much challenges for the pupils to continue their education. To address the
needs of the pupils regarding this problem, I fine time just to deliver these
modules to those learners who resides within the area. But for some who has
internet connection, I just sent it to their messenger. account.

teaching & learning process
ANNOTATIONS: Though we are not in a face to face set-up, I always make a

Performance Tasks where they can showcase their creativity (drawing, making
slogan, composing a sentence), skills (dancing, creating a poem, rap, singing) so
they don’t find my lessons boring. I also provided activity sheets and sent it in
our GC as their reference especially if they don’t get the lesson explained in the
modules.

ANNOTATIONS: I made learning activity sheets with simple examples suited

to their level. And I asked their parents to guide their children in answering

ANNOTATIONS: I made a learning activity sheets for my learners as a

supplementary material. I also developed self-learning worksheet to support
our lessons and approved by our SLRMDS. I uploaded my SLW to our GC for
better understanding on their lessons.

Department of Education and private institution to help me develop my skills
and gain more knowledge. Through this I have learned a lot on different apps,
technologies, strategies and approaches that are applicable on our new normal
set up.

ACADEMY, VIBAL GROUP and SIPAG youth formation Facebook page
sponsored by Department of Education for more information and strategies in
teaching for the 21st Century learners.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 7.4. Professional reflection &
learning to improve practice
LDM Course helps us to establish our

strengths and weaknesses. This aid us to
gain knowledge, skills and mindset that
are necessary in this new normal set-up. It
helps us to ensure the quality of learning
that we will provide to our learners’
despite of this pandemic. At first, it’s hard
to deal with, but we need to carry on with
the changes we have in order to survive.
This changes also is an opportunity for us
learn more. To be creative and innovative
in implementing this distance learning.
ANNOTATIONS: It was stated in my refection that this LDM course helps me a

lot to survive this school year.

THEIRPROGRESS & ACHIEVEMENT
PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 5.2. Monitoring & evaluation of
learner progress & achievement
ANNOTATIONS: I consistently communicate to my learners through texts, calls

and chats. I sometimes conduct home visitation some Sitio’s in our barangay to
meet up with some learners. I also checked their outputs, summative tests and
performance as the basis in making their grades.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 5.3. Feedback to improve learning
ANNOTATIONS: I created a Group chats for my dear parents and learners to
easily check on them. I often asked them about the lessons. Or I called their
parents and asked for the feedbacks and progress of their children.

We have a separate GC in our school since we are a clustered school.
Dissemination of information is easier with these GC’s and through this, we
can share our thoughts and ideas on a specific topic.
