LAC SESSION TRAINING DESIGN

I – Title: SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL (ECHO WEBINAR on DepEd Order No.031 s. 2020:
INTERIM GUIDELINES FOR ASSESSMENT AND GRADING IN LIGHT OF THE BASIC EDUACTION
LEARNING CONTINUITY PLAN).

II – Rationale: To be an effective and globally competitive teacher, regardless of the current

predicament by which everyone has become sentient over ones’ health, safety and well-being.
One must still be equipped with knowledge and wisdom needed for the welfare of the students
particularly in the Assessment and Grading in Light of the Basic Education Learning Continuity
Plan. Thus, the School Learning Action Cell shall be implemented.

Pursuant to the DepEd Order no. 35, s. 2016 re: The Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to 12 Basic
Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
Improvement of Teaching and Learning shall conduct a virtual seminar on DepEd Order no. 031
s. 2020 Interim Guidelines for Assessment and Grading in Light of the Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) for the School Year 2020-2021 in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

III – Objectives:

1. To conduct an Echo of the DepEd Order No. 031 s. 2020 for School Learning Action
Cell (LAC) to the Teachers of Kibungsod National High School.
2. To ensure the Teaching and Learning continuity through virtual seminar amidst
Covid-19 Crisis.
3. To adapt learning continuity with the application of the Learning Action Cell that will
most meaningfully support learner development that would respond to the present
needs.

IV – Training Methodologies:

a. The virtual participants of the LAC are the Teachers of Kibungsod National High
School.
b. The attendance of the virtual seminar is strictly monitored.
c. The virtual seminar is recorded.
d. The participants are encouraged to participate actively in the webinar.
