1.1. ATIS
D-ATIS 126.6

1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)


LVP shall be implemented when either TDZ, MID or END RVR is less than 800m
and/or ceiling is less than 200'. Pilots shall report RWY vacated when ACFT is
clear of the ILS sensitive area. RWY vacation boards have been provided at a dis-
tance of 90m from RWY centerline on TWY R, S, T and U.
After landing vacate RWY 27 via TWY T or TWY U, then taxi to parking
stands 9 thru 16 via TWYs T, M or TWYs U, T, M as applicable. During CAT II,
CAT IIIA or CAT IIIB ILS visibility conditions Follow-me service will be provided
to arriving/departing ACFT on request.
Taxi routing for departures from stands 9 thru 16: Taxi to CAT II/IIIA/IIIB hold-
ing position RWY 27 via TWYs M, S or R. Special precaution may be exercised
when entering RWY. ACFT shall not be held at any point closer to RWY than
CAT II/CAT IIIA/CAT IIIB holding positions.

1.3. COMMUNICATION FAILURE PROCEDURES (ADS-B EQUIPPED)


1.3.1. GENERAL
- ACFT shall avoid all restricted areas.
- During the periods of non-availability of ATS surveillance system in part or
whole of the concerned airspace in Jaipur, the provisions of ICAO PANS ATM
DOC 4444 shall be followed.
1.3.2. AVAILABILITY OF RWYS FOR RCF ACFT
- In case of arriving ACFT, when RWY for landing has already been advised by
ATC, such RWY shall be considered as the assigned RWY. In case arriving ACFT
has not been advised any RWY, RWY 27 shall be considered as assigned RWY.
- In case of departures returning due to RCF, the RWY in use shall be considered
as assigned RWY for landing.
RWY and APCH lights in "SWITCHED ON" position shall indicate the availabil-
ity of RWY for ACFT experiencing RCF.
- Irrespective of visibility/weather conditions, RWY and APCH lights in
"SWITCHED OFF" position shall indicate non-availability of RWY for ACFT
experiencing RCF.
In strong tailwind conditions during APCH for assigned RWY, ACFT experiencing
RCF will carry out a missed APCH on assigned RWY and after following complete
missed APCH for such APCH, ACFT will carry out the published ILS/VOR APCH
procedure for the RWY which is in opposite direction to assigned RWY. For exam-
ple, RWY 09 in case of RWY 27.

1.4. PARKING INFORMATION


Stands 8 thru 17 are push-back.
Stands 8 thru 21 are power-in.
Stands 18 thru 21 are power-out.

2.1. COMMUNICATION FAILURE PROCEDURES (ADS-B EQUIPPED)
2.1.1. GENERAL
Except when descent clearance has already been received from ATC and acknowl-
edged, pilot shall not start descent before 80NM from JJP VOR or until 3 minutes
after transmit the RCF contingency through ADS-B avionics.
If RCF takes place prior to interception of final APCH track/LOC, ACFT shall
MAINTAIN last assigned altitude or 3800’ whichever is higher and proceed to
JJP VOR via shortest route to join the holding procedure and follow APCH proce-
dure for assigned RWY.
If RCF takes place after establishing ILS/final APCH track, ACFT may continue
APCH and land if visual or go around and carry out missed APCH procedure, join
JJP VOR holding at 3800’ and follow APCH procedure for assigned RWY.
2.1.2. ARRIVING ACFT - STAR ASSIGNED
Continue on assigned STAR following all level and speed restrictions applicable to
STAR, as far as practicable.
Except when descent clearance has already been received from ATC and acknowl-
edged, pilot shall not start descent before 80NM from JJP VOR or until 3 minutes
after transmit the RCF contingency through ADS-B avionics.
Arrivals at waypoint JP502 for RWY 27 and JP402 for RWY 09 will adjust their
headings to intercept LOC or final APCH track for concerned RWY.
2.1.3. ARRIVING ACFT - STAR NOT ASSIGNED
Continue on ATS route. Re-join ATS route if given heading or flying offset.
Except when descent clearance has already been received from ATC and acknowl-
edged, pilot shall not start descent before 80NM from JJP VOR or until 3 minutes
after transmit the RCF contingency through ADS-B avionics, then descend to
FL 110 and proceed to JJP VOR.
Descend in JJP VOR holding to 3800’ at or as close as possible to expected APCH
time last received and acknowledged or if no expected APCH time has been
received and acknowledged, at or as close as possible to ETA. Leave JJP VOR and
carry out the published ILS/VOR APCH procedure for assigned RWY.
If possible land within 30 minutes after ETA or last acknowledged EAT whichever
is later.
2.1.4. ARRIVING ACFT - RADAR VECTORED
MAINTAIN last assigned speed, level and heading for 3 minutes after transmit-
ting the RCF contingency through ADS-B avionics.
Proceed direct to JJP VOR and descend to FL 110 or last assigned level/altitude.
Descend in JJP VOR holding to 3800’ at or as close as possible to expected APCH
time last received and acknowledged or if no expected APCH time has been
received and acknowledged, at or as close as possible to ETA. Leave JJP VOR and
carry out the published ILS/VOR APCH procedure for assigned RWY.
If possible land within 30 minutes after ETA or last acknowledged EAT whichever
is later.

3.1. COMMUNICATION FAILURE PROCEDURES (ADS-B EQUIPPED)
3.1.1. DEPARTURE INTENDING TO CONTINUE TO DESTINATION
Continue on assigned SID or heading, climbing/maintaining cleared level or FL 90,
whichever is higher.
3 minutes after transmitting the RCF contingency through ADS-B avionics or
reaching FL 90 by 25 DME or cleared FL (if higher than FL 90) whichever is later:
- If following SID, continue on SID to join ATS route, continue to filed FL and
follow filed flight plan.
- If following RADAR heading or have been directed by ATC to proceed offset
using RNAV-1 SID without a specified limit, proceed in the most direct manner
possible to re-join current flight plan route no later than next significant
point, maintaining cleared FL/FL 90 whichever is higher till 25 DME. After
joining ATS route, climb to filed FL and follow filed flight plan.
3.1.2. DEPARTURE INTENDING TO LAND BACK AT JAIPUR
Continue on assigned SID or RADAR heading and transmit the RCF contingency
through ADS-B avionics.
Climb to/stop climbing according to:

Phase of Flight Actions to be followed by Pilot


At or below FL 110 Maintain/climb to FL 110.
Above FL 110, but below FL 250 Maintain/climb to:
The last cleared and acknowledged
level or FL 250/ FL 240, (appropri-
ate to the direction of the flight)
whichever is lower.

On reaching FL according to table or 3 minutes after transmitting the RCF contin-


gency through ADS-B avionics, whichever is later, take a suitable turn to
establish same ATS route inbound and proceed to JJP VOR. After establishing
inbound track, descend to FL 110 and join JJP VOR holding.
Descend in JJP VOR holding to 3800’ at or as close as possible to expected APCH
time last received and acknowledged or if no expected APCH time has been
received and acknowledged, at or as close as possible ETA. Leave JJP VOR and
carry out the published ILS/VOR APCH procedure for the assigned RWY.
If possible land within 30 minutes after ETA or last acknowledged EAT whichever
is later.

LOSS OF COMMUNICATION PROCEDURE


When RADAR vectoring is provided for pilot interpreted final approach aid, following radio
communication failure procedure shall be applicable:

1. If radio communication failure takes place prior to interception of final approach track, aircraft
shall MAINTAIN the last assigned altitude or 3800 whichever is higher and proceed to JJP VOR via
shortest route to join the holding procedure.

2. If radio communication failure occurs after interception of the final approach track, aircraft
should continue the approach and land if visual or carry out the missed approach and join the JJP
VOR holding at 3800.

3. After joining the holding procedure aircraft shall carry out the instrument approach procedure
for which RADAR vectoring was provided.
