Pearl Lake Property Owner's Association


Sue Beese, President of the Pearl Lake Property Owner's Association called the Sept. 3, 2011 meeting to
order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Town of Leon Clerk, Laurie Engen and Joe Piechowski of the
Lake Management District attended. Jeff Swenson gave an American flag to Dave Paulick as he was the
only member attending who had storm damage to the roof.

Sec'y minutes were read & approved as given.

Treasurer, Mike Gosenheimer, gave report as of Sept. 1, 2011 with a total balance of $5,001.48. He
reported there are 108 paid members as of Sept. 3, 2011.

Old Business: Sunday hours at landfill. This matter hasn't been discussed at the township meeting. Joe
Piechowski recommends town residents should speak about this matter at the monthly town meeting or
with the County Works Committee. Township residents were urged to attend monthly meetings at the
Pine River Hall, second Wednesday of the month.

Pearl Lake Day: About 60 participated in the walk/run event. 14 teams participated in the golf outing,
with the Ryan team winning. A chairman is needed for the 2012 beach games. The band playing time was
shortened due to rain, the tip jar donations were good. Fire Department sales were $1200 to $1500.

New Business: Association officers election: Motion by Dave Paulick, all present officers serve another
term. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously. It was stated it's best to call DNR on the jet
skiing after hours & high rate of speed, have a description and number of the jet ski if possible. Call Dave
Algrim on loud boat noise.

There was lengthy discussion on the power outage due to wind/rain storm. Storm sirens did not sound.
Express concern to Chrm., Chris Sorensen.
