The researchers conducted an experiment to determine whether a solid block made with 210g or 310g of eggshells would perform better in terms of durability, density and resistance to water. They found that the block made with 310g of eggshells (Setup B) was more durable, less dense and resisted water absorption more than the block made with 210g of eggshells (Setup A). In conclusion, Setup B which used 310g of eggshells produced a better performing solid block.

Using Eggshells in Making Solid Blocks Background of the Study Statement of the Problem This Investigatory project generally aims to answer the question, which of the two set-ups between 210 and 310 grams of eggshells is better in making solid Hyp othe sis probably be more durable, less dense and will resist more in/on water than the solid probably be more durable, less dense and will resist in/on water more than the solid Significance of the Study People or Community Block-Making industries Environ ment Scope and Limitation The researchers conducted an investigatory project to determine between which two set-ups of 210 grams and 310 grams of eggshells would be better in making solid blocks. Due to the simplicity of the experiment, materials are obtained in the respective houses of the researchers particularly the white chicken eggshells, sand and containers. The researchers only focused their findings and the experiment itself in comparing which of the two set-ups is better in terms of durability, density, and resistance in/on water and is not, therefore, compared to any commercially-made blocks. The researchers’ stated ideas are the only bases of the investigatory project. Anything more than these ideas, specifically the texture, aesthetics and further experimentation on the buoyancy of the blocks were not covered by the experiment.
