B. Activating Prior
Knowledge -The Teacher will show a real three (3) object of things found in the garden. Let the pupils
say something about the real object.

Motivation:
Each pupil will write their answer on the slate board.

Direction: Check (/) the objects if it is found in the garden, wrong (x) if it is not. Then
raise your slate board after answering.

Values integration:
 Why we need to have a garden at home?
 Do you believe that human being needs plant for their daily living? Why?
Give emphasis on the situation that shows concern, give importance and taking care of
plants in the surroundings. Lead the pupils to see that concern, give importance and taking
care of plants is important to our surroundings.

E. Discussing new concepts and


practicing new skills The teacher will explain the things that can be found in the garden. “Living and nonliving
things”

Let the pupils engage the game called “Guess me”
(Using the ball, The Teacher will instruct the pupils to form a circle then do the task:
dribble, pass the ball, then stop, and get the object on the box)

(The pupils will get the object in the box. Let them name and describe the object. Classify
the object if it is Living or nonliving things (Stone, tomato, small worm, soil, wooden
stick, rake, malunggay, flower)

Let the pupils count the object in the box which is living and nonliving things
