I am pleased to advise you of the appointment of Mrs Renae Collier as Principal of St

Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Nundah, commencing Term 1 2022.

Renae is currently the Head of Campus (Primary) at Southern Cross Catholic College
Scarborough. Renae’s leadership experience includes APRE/PLL at Mater Dei Catholic
Primary School, Ashgrove West; Education Officer, Professional Learning and Leadership
Development, Employee Services BCEO; and Acting APA and APRE positions within the
Brisbane Archdiocese.

Renae’s qualifications include Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, Post Graduate in

Early Education, Masters in Educational Leadership, Post Graduate Certificate in Educational
Leadership and Post Graduate Certificate in Religious Education. This appointment follows
public advertising and a selection process involving Fr Bernard Gallagher, Parish Priest
Banyo Nundah Catholic Parish, representatives from the school community and Brisbane
Catholic Education.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the significant contribution of the current Principal of
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Nundah, Kerry Latimer, who retires at the end of 2021
after a long career in Catholic Education. We wish Kerry well in the years ahead.
