● OBSTACLE AVOIDING ROBOT

Description : The obstacle avoiding robotics is used for detecting obstacles and avoiding the collision. This is
an autonomous robot. Whenever the robot moves on the desired path the ultrasonic sensor transmits the
ultrasonic rays continuously from ts sensor head. Whenever an obstacle encounters this the ultrasonic
waves are reflected back to the receiver end. The controlling of the motors is done using PWM technique.

● POWER QUALITY ANALYSIS IN ELECTRIC TRACTION SYSTEM WITH 3 PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR

Description : The effects of 3 phase induction motors on power quality in a 110kv transmission network are
investigated. The operative modes of traction vehicle including acceleration, constant drive and regenerative
braking are studied and the values of total harmonic distribution, unbalance, flicker and power factor are
obtained from the project.

● VTPS-Vijayawada
Description : Dr. Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Plant is also known as Vijayawada Thermal Power Plant. The
Station stood first in the country by achieving the highest plant load factor. The plant uses thermal energy to
generating electric power of 500MW the generated power is linked through grid from where the electricity is
distributed.

● Jocil-Perecherla
Description : It is a Public Limited Company incorporated in FEbruary 1978 as A.P Oil and Chemicals Industries
Ltd. It is listed in National Stock Exchange(NSE) Madras and Hyderabad. A 6MW Biomass Cogeneration Power Plant
Commisioned in 2001, to meet captive requirements of Steam and Power. Exports Surplus Power to APSPDCL (Public
Utility Company).
