Version: V1R1 Author: Ankit Joshi Changing the Port of COSEC Web Application
I have Installed COSEC but still when I
open COSEC Web shows: “HTTP:404 NOT FOUND” You need to change the Port of COSEC Web application. As you are new to COSEC let me guide you first
In Run, type “Internet Information Services Manager” and hit Enter
/ After this, make sure that you are changing the port in respective COSEC Applications as well to avoid the License read Error. For COSEC mail go to the path ‘ C:\inetpub\wwwroot\COSEC ‘ then Open Web (config File) and Enter the Port as shown below Follow the same procedure for Monitor, Enroll and VMS Applications.
But in these cases the name of the file would be
“Settings.xml” found under C:\Program Files(or Program Files(x86)\Matrix and then go to the respective application`s folder. Just find “localhost” and replace it by “Localhost:Port” You have really made the things very easy for me. Thanks a lot for sharing the information.
