First Activity

The Negros Oriental State University, Dumaguete City, Department of Physical

Education, led by Dr. Carlou Bernaldez shared a video on YouTube contains the outlook of the
course of Physical Education. Dr. Bernaldez shares the objectives and lessons in the Physical
Education where students enhance their extra-curricular activities, develop their creativity, and
skills through playing games and engaging proper knowledge. I am so glad to hear the ideas and
knowledge where he shares to us. As a Physical Education 2 student, I have lots of learnings I’ve
learned in this course. I believe a great leader like Dr. Bernaldez is a genuine leader and is not a
searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus.

Dr. Bernaldez mentioned about the lessons that students will be learning activities and
other interventions that will students accomplishing and complying. The course is about
recreation, games, and sports. The course also demonstrate recreation as a discipline which
includes arts and crafts.

Hence, Physical Education course helps students improve their academic performance.
Through, NORSU and which led with our great leader Dr. Carlou Bernaldez, we can learn a lot
of things, they provide cognitive content, instruction designed to develop motor skills,
knowledge, and behaviors for Physical activity and physical fitness. Our Professors and leaders
of our University supports learners to establish physical education daily and can provide learners
with the ability and confidence to be physically active for a lifetime.
