Soumik Purkayastha, student of Bba LL. B (Specialization in Corporate Law) (Hons.) (2016-
2021), UPES, Dehradun, applying for LLM at Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

I have known my capacity as his professor for the last four years.

Mr. Soumik has been a diligent performer in the academic curriculum. In addition to the
regular curriculum, he has special interest in Intellectual and Property Rights and
Constitutional Law.

In his endeavor for excellence Mr. Soumik has been an active law student participating and
organizing several in inter and intra co-curricular activities. He has published several research
papers and attended academic seminars and workshops.

Mr. Soumik is a bright student, articulate in writing, has good communication skills, well
read, with a child- like curiosity to learn and improve self. During the course of his study, he
has been attentive and participative.
