3. BRM Purchasing
Publicize verified assessment data through reports, social media and web content, and
related collateral.
To purchase Higg Facility assessments, create an account on the Higg platform and log in.
You will automatically be directed to the purchasing page.
Purchase a Module
Choose the assessments you would like to purchase (single module or bundle package).

Search the account name or Higg ID for the facilities you want to purchase modules for.
Payment Methods
Payments for Higg assessments are accepted by credit card, Alipay, and wire transfer.
Pay by credit card or Alipay to immediately access your modules in your Higg account.
Download an invoice and complete your payment by wire transfer. Each wire transfer
invoice includes a processing fee. To minimize processing fees, bulk purchases are
recommended. Processing fees should be expected for all wire transfer generated invoices,
even if multiple invoices are paid in a single transfer.
All customers will receive a payment confirmation from Higg once an invoice is paid. If you
don’t see your modules(s) or receive an invoice, contact Higg Index support.
1) Credit card
To pay by credit card, click the credit card icon. Enter your credit card information. Click
“Purchase.” Once the payment is complete, you will be able to see and edit your module(s)
immediately on the Higg platform.
2) Alipay
To pay with Alipay, click the Alipay icon on the Higg platform. Then click the blue
“Purchase” button. Download the Alipay app on your mobile phone. With your phone, scan
the QR code provided on the Higg platform. Pay on your phone. Once the payment is
complete, you will be able to see and edit your module(s) immediately on the Higg
platform.

4) Wire transfers
To pay by wire transfer, click the wire transfer icon on the Higg platform. Then click the
“generate invoice” button at the bottom of the screen. This will generate an invoice and
automatically allocate the selected module(s) to the corresponding Higg account.
You will automatically receive the invoice via email. The invoice includes all information
necessary to complete the wire transfer payment. If you do not receive the invoice, contact
Higg Index support at payment@higg.com or https://howtohigg.org/request.
After clicking “generate invoice,” go to the FEM dashboard on the Higg platform via the top
navigation bar. Your module will be activated and immediately accessible.
Processing Fees
Each invoice created through the wire transfer option incurs a processing fee. Processing
fees apply to all wire transfer invoices, even if multiple invoices are paid in a single transfer.
To minimize processing fees, we recommend bulk purchases.
Payment Method Changes
After a wire transfer invoice is generated, you may change the payment method to pay by
credit card. You may not change the payment method to Alipay.
To pay by credit card after generating a wire transfer invoice, the request must be made
within a week from invoice creation or a processing fee will apply. Payment by credit card
must then be completed within 48 hours.
Refunds
Refunds for credit card purchases must be requested within 60 days of payment and must
meet listed criteria. Review the full refund policy here.
Late or Missed Payments
Late or missed payments will result in limited Higg account access. If your payment is not
received by the due date on the invoice, you won’t be able to post your module.
In your FEM dashboard, click the “Submit/Post Assessment” button to see your account’s
payment status. If payment for your assessment is not received by the due date, you may
not post your FEM and mark the module status Assessment Complete (ASC). Late
payments will also prevent access to vFEM assessments and downloading the FEM
Communications Toolkit.
To avoid interruption to your account, make payment for modules purchased at standard
rates must be made by the due date listed on the invoice. Invoices that include modules
purchased with incentive pricing/discounts should be paid prior to the end of the special
pricing period to avoid pricing adjustments.
IMPORTANT: You must include your invoice number on your wire transfer form in the
FBO section, otherwise the payment could be rejected if Higg cannot identify the facility
associated with the invoice.

Higg will process your payment as quickly as possible. You will see the payment status for
your selected facility module(s) on the facility dashboard. If no date appears by the “wire
received” date, that means that Higg hasn’t received your payment yet.
Once your payment is received and confirmed, you will receive an email with a paid invoice
receipt from the Higg payment system.
If payment or evidence of payment for your modules is not received within 30 days of
invoice generation, you won’t be able to post your modules.
If payment or evidence of payment for your module(s) is not received within 30 days of
invoice generation, we may delete your module(s).
Payment must be received by the listed due date on the invoice. Accounts that do not make
payment within 30 days will be affected.
For discounted module purchases, invoices not paid by the due date will have module
pricing adjusted.
Processing fees are expected for all wire transfer generated invoices even if multiple
invoices are paid in a single transfer.
