“Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark...”
Can you picture Mary’s early morning
trek to the tomb as she mourns the
loss of Jesus? Perhaps there were
almond trees blossoming pink along
the way or red poppies by the side
of the road. But her singleminded
devotion to Christ keeps her focused
on her apparent loss. What joy when
she encounters Jesus in the garden.
It is my prayer that this Easter you
would encounter Christ in a new and
deeper way, leading to profound joy
and fervent obedience to the work of
the Holy Spirit in your life.
Even as we spend more time this
month in contemplation of Christ’s
sacrificial journey, we cannot help
but bring before Him the anguish and
loss in Japan. The Anglican Relief and
Development Fund has a donation
link in place at Anglicanaid.net that
makes giving very simple. You will be
helping in a practical way, and you will
be assured your funds will be used
responsibly.
It was a joy to lead a consecration
service at Christ the Redeemer in
Danvers, MA March 19th. After the
congregation reached their goal for
purchasing their property, the clergy,
vestry and leadership gathered to
seek the Holy Spirit’s direction for
the ministry’s mission and vision.
As Senior Warden, David Greening
prayed, “Eternal God, the heaven of
heavens cannot contain you, much
less the walls of temples made with
hands. Graciously receive our thanks

And we rejoice with St. Timothy
Anglican Mission in Burlington, VT.
They are moving to “new digs” on
Easter Sunday. Simply, “we needed
more space“ said Senior Warden, Bill
Hogan. St. Timothy began in 2005 as a
home fellowship, meeting monthly. In
2008 weekly services began, with Rev.
Alex Cameron serving part-time, and
as of November, full tiime. Praise God!
And what a wonderful weekend
we just had at Church of the Good
Shepherd in Binghamton, NY. Thanks
to Father Matt and the vibrant
congregation for their welcome and
commitment!
Also in March, the new ACNA bishops
met in Pittsburgh. It was a time of
fellowship and learning, culiminating
in an encouragment from Archbishop
Duncan to grow in our marriages, our
prayer life and in communion with our
parishioners and diocese...aka, you!

Small Group Discipleship Training - Part Two is fast

This session we’ll delve into growth in character and holiness through
one on one interaction, small groups, and modeling. We’ll also talk about
