Royal Decree 28/2019  

Ratifying the Paris Agreement 

We, Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman 

after perusal of the Basic Statute of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, 

Royal  Decree  119/94  Approving  the  Accession  of  the  Sultanate  of  Oman  to  Some  International 
ِAgreements, 

and  the  Paris  Agreement  done  in  Paris  on  12  December  2015,  and  signed  by  the  Sultanate  on  22 
April 2016,   

and after presentation to Shura Council, 

and in pursuance of public interest, 

have decreed as follows 

Article I  

The aforementioned agreement is hereby ratified in the form attached. 

Article II 

Competent  bodies  shall  deposit  the  instrument  of  ratification  of  the  aforementioned  agreement in 
accordance with its provisions. 

Article III 

This  decree  shall  be  published  in  the  Official  Gazette  and  shall  come  into  force  on  the  date  of  its 
issuance.
