I. Background Information for Learners

Quantitative research is a formal, deductive,


and systematic process that focuses mainly on
obtaining and analyzing numerical data. It is one of
the forms of research which is disciplined in its
methodology and more scientific in its procedure.
This form of research is an objective, systematic
empirical investigation of observable phenomena
which highlights numerical analysis of data and its
relationship with events.

In this learning activity sheet, we will study
