RESEARCH-BASED PROJECT 2N – AIP CAPSULIZED REPORT

Executive Summary
Engaging learners in learning is always considered a challenge by teachers . Though it may be perceived
as difficult, it can be made interesting by teachers by applying the appropriate teaching methodology and
designing activities. However employing and applying better methodologies on the new normal way of education
are also challenges to whether it is effective or not. In order to cope up with this DEpEd released its plans,
preparation and discussed issues and concerns and strength of institution for instructional delivery . After that
Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) has created. One of the most preparation was on Curriculum different that led to
the creation of Most Essential Learning competencies (MELCS). The release of MELCS is not just a response to
address the challenges of the current pandemic but a part of DepEd ‘s long term response to develop resilient
education system most especially during emergencies.
After months of using learning modality particularly there are some challenges that can only be resolved
in the real classroom. However preparations for learning delivery and modality may have provided a boost and
confidence to teachers . The primary purpose of the project 2N-AIP is to provide guidance and to ensure
effective learning happens even during the crisis situation. This will be made possible through a careful
examination of the 8 M’s of teaching that covers the monitoring and evaluation.
The 8 M’s of instruction have different area of concerns and comprises of five(5) or ten (10) indicators.

First is Milieu with total weighted mean of 2.96 which is Evident. The teachers implemented different strategies to
monitor the learning progress of the learners. The learners home should conducive for learning.

Next is Matter or Content of Learning which refers to what is to be learned as specified in the instructional
objective. Teachers prioritize mastery of the lesson by giving supplementary activities and more realistic learning
task. Its total weighted mean is 2.98 which is Evident.

Method or the Teaching-learning Strategy it refers on the teachers strategy and approaches that would best fit the
diverse learners and the strategy must be “new normal appropriate”. 2.96 total weighted mean which is also
Evident.

Materials or the Resources of learning pertains to materials and resources of learning which serve as stimuli in
teaching-learning situation. 3.54 total weighted mean which is Very Evident.

The fifth M’s is Media or Communication in Teaching and Learning its purpose is the communication system in the
teaching-learning process of new normal education. Total weighted mean is 3.6 which is Very Evident

Motivation or Arousing and Sustaining Interest in learning is the sixth M’s in area of concern. Its primary principle is
to assist the parents in guiding their children at home to sustain their interest in doing their weekly task. Its
qualitative index is Evident with total weighted mean of 3.13.

Mastery of the Be-All and End-All of Learning is the essential component of the teaching -learning process wherein
