residents of Bgy., Dawis, Dingle, Iloilo, Philippines, ADELINA L. GIMENO, of legal age, Filipino,
widow, and with address at Brgy. Malitbog, Tapaz, Capiz, Philippines, and JUN V. DERLA, of legal age,
Filipino, married and with address at Brgy. Bakhaw, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippines, by these
presents, hereby NAME, CONSTITUTE AND APPOINT, JENNY G. DERLA , of legal age, Filipino,
married to Jun Derla, and with address at Brgy., Bakhaw, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippine, as our true
and lawful ATTORNEY-IN-FACT, in performing the following:

1.] To sign the Amended Petition for Review in CA G.R. SP No. 11588 entitled Sps. JOCELYN
G. PALOMO et al., vs. LEONORA JIMENEZ, before the Court of Appeals, Cebu City, to sign the
Verification and Certification of Non-Forum Shopping, and to sign all other pleadings in the said
case/appeal, to represent us in the mediation, Judicial Dispute Resolution (JDR), and to appear for us
until the final termination of the case; to enter into amicable settlement or compromise agreement, to
consider the submission of the case to alternative mode of dispute resolution, and such matters that may
aid in the prompt disposition of the case. To do such other acts and things in order to carry into effect the
powers vested in this Special Power of Attorney.

HEREBY GIVING AND GRANTING unto our said Attorney-in-Fact full power and authority
to do and perform every act and thing whatsoever requisite, necessary and proper to be done in and about
the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as we might or could lawfully do if personally present,
and HEREBY RATIFYING and CONFIRMING all that our Attorney-in-Fact shall do or cause to be
done by virtue of these presents.
