Criminal Liability​5

The law punishes those guilty of violating the different prohibitions in RA


9231:

● Persons liable:
A. Any person who directly commits the violations;
B. Employer of the subcontractor who employs; or
C. One who facilitates the employment of a child in hazardous
work

A. Fine of not less than P100,000.00 but not more than
P1,000,000.00; or
B. Imprisonment of not less than twelve (12) years and one (1)
day to twenty (20) years, or both such fine and imprisonment
at the discretion of the court
