At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

A. Identify the foreground, middle ground and background in a landscape art

B. Express their ways how to value nature.

C. Understand the proportion of the objects in a landscape art by painting/


drawing a landscape.

I. PROCEDURE:

A. REVIEW

• Recalling contrasting colors.


• The teacher presents photos of objects with one color. The learners tell
the perfect color/ contrasting color that matches the color of the part of the
object.

B. MOTIVATION

• The teacher shows photos of different wonderful places in the Philippines.


Learners analyzes the photos and tell their observation in the class.
• Teacher introduces the lesson Landscape art through the photos.
C. PRESENTATION

• Teacher discusses landscape art and its parts by showing multiple


examples through powerpoint presentation.

D. APPLICATION

• Group activity. Each group will complete an unfinished landscape photo by


pasting the objects, that are supposedly in it, appropriately.

E. GENERALIZATION

• Learners identify the parts of landscape in the photos or examples of


landscape art that the teacher will show.

III. ASSIGNMENT

A. Print 3 landscape photos/paintings from the internet. Mark and label the parts of a
landscape – foreground, middle ground, background and the horizon line.

B. Do a brief study and reading about the Philippine myths and legends such Mariang
Makiling, Bernardo Carpio, dwende, capre, sirena, Darna, diwata, Dalagang Magayon.
